AMD Radeon VII Benchmarks Reveal Similar Performance To RTX 2080

AMD Radeon VII Benchmarks

The AMD Radeon VII is the new top of the line graphics card from AMD and the performance numbers have leaked before the official release. From the AMD Radeon VII benchmarks, we can see that the graphics card is able to beat the RTX 2080 in some cases. Overall the performance is similar to the RTX 2080 even though the AMD Radeon VII does not offer ray tracing support.

The AMD Radeon VII is going to be the high-end card for 2019 even though AMD Navi graphics cards are going to release this year, they are going to be mainstream graphics cards that will compete with the RTX 2060 and RTX 2070. You can check out the AMD Radeon VII benchmarks below:

From the AMD Radeon VII benchmarks we can see that the new card is more powerful than the RTX 2080 in some cases and that the RTX 2080 Ti is still on the top. It is also worth nothing that the AMD Radeon VII is indeed 25-30% faster than the AMD RX Vega 64 which was the previous top of the line card that AMD had to offer.

4 AMD Navi cards have already been spotted which could mean that they are close to launching. Other than that, we also know that AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPUs will be released later this year and we have already spotted an engineering sample that performs better than the AMD Ryzen 2700X. Reports have us believe that the upcoming X570 motherboards are designed by AMD rather than being outsourced. This could mean more features for users in the future but we do not know for sure right now.

We will keep you updated regarding the matter so stay tuned for more news.

Let us know what you think about these AMD Radeon VII benchmarks and whether or not you are interested in getting one of these graphics cards when they are released in February.
