In this Anthem Challenges Guide, we will detail all the challenges in the game, that require you certain story related tasks like defeating enemies with certain weapons, crafting parts, upgrading and various other tasks.

There are loads of Challenges to complete in Anthem, but they require you to find them first. The game is filled with certain tasks that are tied to challenges. You may have noticed that a completed challenge will pop up to inform you that the task is completed, while you may have been fighting an enemy.

Anthem Challenges Guide

Below we have listed and detailed all the challenges in Anthem.

As mentioned before, there are many challenges in the game. Many of these challenges are sorted out in 10 categories. In addition to several challenges, some are not so easy to complete, while some need to be located in the first place.

The 8 Categories of Challenges are:

• Path to Glory
• Factions
• Expeditions
• Exploration
• Feats
• Combat
• Javelin
• Freelancer

The list of challenges can be accessed from your Cortex, where you can go and see all the list of challenges in the Challenges tab in the menu.

All Challenges

Below we have listed all the tasks in all the 10 categories of challenges in Anthem.

Path to Glory

This section of challenges are tied with Daily, Weekly and Monthly challenges. The challenges require you to complete certain tasks that involve certain actions like defeating enemies in a certain way, to tasks that ask you to collect certain items in the open world.

The rewards you get from the challenges range from resource materials, to Masterwork Embers.

Daily Challenges

These are the current Daily Challenges in the game:

1. Combo: Earn 3 Combos feat by triggering combos on enemies suffering from status effect.
2. Contracts: successfully complete 2 contracts
3. Heart of Rage: complete the Heart of Rage Stronghold
4. Legendary Contract: Complete a legendary contract
5. Stronghold: Complete a Stronghold
6. Daily World Events: Complete 3 daily World Events in Freeplay

Weekly Challenges

These are the current Weekly Challenges in the game:

1. Factions: Prove your worth to the memory of General Tarsis by defeating enemies of the Freelancers. Defeat 250 Dominions, Scars and Outlaws each.
2. Factions: Prove your worth to the memory of General Tarsis by defeating enemies of the Freelancers. Defeat 500 Dominions, Scars and Outlaws each.
3. Contracts: Complete 5 contracts
4. Strongholds: Complete 10 Strongholds

Monthly Challenges

These are the current Monthly Challenges in the game:

1. Bronze: Complete 10 Daily Challenges in Path to Glory before time runs out.
2. Silver: Complete 30 Daily Challenges and 10 Weekly Challenges before time runs out.
3. Gold: Complete 15 Daily Challenges and 5 Weekly challenges before time runs out.

Factions

These challenges usually require you to increase the loyalty of each factions, and taking them to the maximum level 3 of each of the three factions in Anthem.

These three Factions are Arcanist, Freelancer and Sentinel, that all require various task via contracts, or completing certain missions. We have covered how you can gain loyalty in out Anthem Faction Loyalty Guide.

Expeditions

These are story related challenges that are unlocked with the progression of your story in the game. The Critical Challenges are purely tied to the tasks that you will need to complete during story missions. The Agent challenges require you to complete certain task that the Agents ask you to complete.

Meanwhile the Stronghold challenges require you to complete the Strongholds missions. If you are having troubling finding and completing one, read our Anthem Strongholds Guide.

Lastly, Freeplay missions are tied to the Tombs of the Legionnaires where you have to complete certain tasks to unlock each of the four tombs in the game.

Bastion

There are basically two categories that Bastion Challenges are divided in. The firs is the Bastion Collectibles and the other is Bastion Regions

Bastion Collectibles

Here are all the collectibles challenges listed below:

1. Botanist: Collect 200 Chimeric Compounds
2. Geologist: Harvest 200 Chimeric Alloys
3. Arcanist Archives: Gather 25 Arcanist Archives
4. Distinguished Explorer: Complete all Bastion Collectibles challenges
5. Dominion Intel: Gather 25 Dominion Intel
6. Grave Historian: Find the Legionnaire tombs
7. Master Archivist: Gather archives from each of the factions
8. Merderines’ Disciple: Gather 10 records, files, manuscripts, and other misplaced writings
9. Outlaw History: Gather 25 Outlaw History
10. Scar Intel: Gather 25 Scar Intel
11. Sentinel Archives: Gather 25 Sentinel Archives
12. Trailblazer: Discover the Overlooks in Bastion.

Bastion Regions

Here are all the region exploration challenges listed below:

1. Academy Ruins Exploration: Discover all 15 locations in the Academy Ruins region
2. Fortress of Dawn Exploration: Discover all 9 locations in the Fortress of Dawn region.
3. High Road Exploration: Discover all 8 locations in the High Road Region
4. Great Falls Canyon Explortaion: Discover all 11 locations in the Great Falls Canyon region.
5. East Gate Exploration: Discover all the 8 locations in the East Gate region.
6. Eastern Reach Exploration: Discover all the 12 locations in the Eastern Reach region
7. Emerald Abyss Exploration: Discover all the 10 locations in the Emerald Abyss region
8. Exploration Master: Fully explore all the 10 regions in Bastion.
9. Monument Watch Exploration: Discover all the 4 locations in the Monument Watch region
10. Ruins of Shadowmark Exploration: Discover all the 12 locations in the Ruins of Shadowmark region
11. Valley of Tarsis Exploration: Discover all the 14 locations in the Valley of Tarsis region.

Feats

The challenges in Feats are tied to your Expeditions, and increase your Freelance reputation which you can track on a document next to Yarrow in Fort Tarsis.

All the challenges in Feats are listed below:

1. Weak Point Striker: Earn the “Weak Point Striker” feat by hitting 20 enemies’ weak points to defeat them
2. Weapon Master: Earn the “Weapon Master” feat by using 2- weapons to defeat enemies.
3. Gear Master: Earn the “Gear Master” feat by defeating enemies with gear.
4. Mission Complete: Ear the “Mission Complete” feat by successfully completing 20 missions.
5. Materials Harvested: Earn the “Materials Harvested” feat by harvesting 2- crafting materials
6. Allies Repaired: Earn the “Allies Repaired” feat by repairing 20 down ally javelins.
7. Collection: Earn the “Collectibles” feat by finding 20 collectible objects in the world.
8. Combos: Earn the “Combos” feat by triggering 20 combos on enemies suffering from status effects.
9. Elite Slayer: Earn the “Elite Slayer” feat by defeating 20 Elite enemies.
10. Legendary Slayer: Earn the “Legendary Slayer” feat by defeating 20 Legendary enemies.
11. Melee Master: Earn the “Melee Master” feat by defeating enemies with melee attacks
12. Multi-Kills: Earn the “Multi-Kills” feat by defeating numerous enemies simultaneously 20 times.
13. Reinforcement: Earn the “Reinforcement” feat by reinforcing other Freelancers during missions.
14. Ultimate Master: Earn the “Ultimate Master” feat by defeating 20 enemies with an ultimate ability.
15. World Events: Earn the “World Events” feat by successfully completing World Events in Freeplay.

Combat

These are mostly combat related challenges that require various tasks that include taking down certain number of enemies and types of enemies.

All the challenges are listed below:

1. Scar Eradicator: Defeat 200 Scars
2. Melee Master 1: Defeat 100 enemies using melee combat
3. Combo Master 1: Trigger 50 combo reactions during combat.
4. Wildlife Eradicator: Defeat 200 Wolven, Wyverns or Anrisaurs
5. Dominion Equipment Destroyer: Destroy 50 Dominion Turrets
6. Dominion Eradicator: Defeat 200 Dominion
7. Outlaw Equipment Destroyer: Destroy 50 Outlaw Turrets
8. Outlaw Eradicator: Defeat 200 Outlaws
9. Scar Equipment Destroyer: Destroy 50 Scar Turrets and Hives
10. Skorpion Eradicatior: Defeat 200 Skorpion
11. There Be Giants: Find and defeat the Four Named Titans
12. Titan Eradicator: Defeat 50 Titans
13. Ultimate Master 1: Defeat 100 enemies using a javelin’s ultimate ability.
14. Ursix Eradicator: Defeat 100 Ursix

Javelin

Below are all the Javelin related tasks that you have to complete.

1. Epic Javelin: complete a mission in an Epic javelin
2. Masterwork Javelin: complete a mission in a Masterwork javelin
3. Rare Javelin: complete a mission in a Rare javelin
4. Uncommon Javelin: complete a mission in an Uncommon Javelin

Freelancer

All the tasks in the Freelancer challenges are listed below:

1. Artifact Silencer: Silence 10 Artifacts
2. Treasure Hunter: Open 50 Chests
3. Legendary Freelancer: Complete all listed challenges.
