Anthem PC requirements have been revealed and they are pretty fair keeping in mind that this is a beautiful open world game that has a lot of detail and effects. We did know about the minimum requirements but now we know about the recommended requirements for Anthem PC as well.
The recommended requirements mention the Nvidia RTX 2060. Bioware has teamed up with Nvidia and announced at CES 2019 that the game will support DLSS technology that could be one of the reasons why the Nvidia RTX 2060 is recommended for the game. If you are not interested in DLSS then the GTX 1060 should be fine for playing Anthem at 1080p 60 FPS. Anthem PC requirements are as follows:

- CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
- RAM: 8 GB System Memory
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X
- GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory

- DirectX: DirectX 11
Anthem PC Recommended Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz
- RAM: 16 GB System Memory
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060/ RTX 2060, AMD RX 480
- GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory
- Storage: At least 50 GB of free space
- DirectX: DirectX 11
The Nvidia RTX 2060 focuses more on DLSS rather than real-time ray tracing. Anthem does not support Nvidia RTX real-time ray tracing so there is not much that you are missing out on if you have the 2060 or even the 1060 for that matter. DLSS will just give you better FPS as compared to TAA. That is something that you can live with if you are not interested in upgrading to the new RTX series of graphics cards that Nvidia has released.
From what we have seen so far Anthem seems to be a very impressive game and there is a lot of hype around the title. It will be interesting to see what the final version of the game will have to offer. If you are interested in playing Anthem before the release then be sure to check out the demo of the game that will be available next month.
