Anthem Retains Top Spot After 2 Weeks, Trials Rising Manages to Squeeze in Top 10

Anthem Top Ten

After two weeks of launching, Anthem still managed to claim the number one spot in UK physical sales according to last week’s UKIE/GfK Top Ten. Anthem has been critically acclaimed since the game’s release and everyone from fans to critics are being pretty brutal on the title however it still managed to hold the top spot for another week.

Apart from a few new entries last week, we did not see much changes in the list. Trials Rising was released last week and it managed to take the number 10 spot in the list. Apart from it, Dirt Rally 2.0 secured the sixth spot and The LEGO Movie 2: Videogame secured fourth spot in the Top Ten list.

Sitting behind Anthem at the second spot is FIFA 19 and Far Cry: New Dawn at third spot. Anthem suffered from a big 71 percent sales drop but it still managed to come out at the top when the week ended.

One of the biggest surprises is Dirt Rally 2.0 because it has the most niche market segment and even not all racing fans are interested in the title because it is a very hardcore title yet it secured the number sixth spot in its release week. Trials Rising is the first Trials title to come out on a Nintendo console however it suffered in terms of sales.

When compared to both PS4 and Xbox One versions, the Nintendo Switch version was the one which had the lowest sales figures. Apart from these titles, we have the regulars in the list. Red Dead Redemption 2 is now on the fifth spot.

Metro Exodus is still doing pretty well and it is sitting comfortably at the seventh spot right below Dirt Rally 2.0. Then we have Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at number eight and nine spots respectively.
