Last week’s UKIE/GfK Top Ten has been released and it turns out that Anthem has climbed to the top of the UK physical sales list despite mixed reviews and many people complaining about the game’s bugs and connection problems.
The past few weeks have been full of many AAA game releases and we saw many new titles emerge in this list however for the next couple of weeks, the release calendar is empty and we do not have many AAA titles coming up so we cannot expect a big change in the chart in the coming weeks.
You can check out the top 10 list of most sold copies last week below.
- Anthem
- Far Cry: New Dawn
- FIFA 19
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Metro Exodus
- Forza Horizon 4
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
We can see that many new titles have dropped down significantly when compared to last week’s report. Resident Evil 2, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Jump Force are not out of the top 10 list while Forza Horizon 4 has managed to climb to the 6th spot thanks to a price cut due to a sale.
Crackdown 3 never made to the top 10 list however after a second week of release, it has dropped back even further to 26th spot. Jump Force dropped from number 4 to 17th spot on the list. Metro: Exodus is currently sitting comfortably at the number 5 spot.
FIFA 19 has climbed to the number 3 spot because of a sale promotion as well. Other than that we have the normal titles Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe in this list.
The next few weeks are quite ones in terms of new AAA releases so we are not expecting major additions to this list for the next week. For the last week, Anthem claims the top spot.
