In its biggest announcement to date, Anzu has announced that it has signed a new global deal with Ubisoft for in-game ads starting with its newest title Trackmania. This is the first collaboration taking place between the two companies and with this partnership, players of Trackmania will get to see innovative ads in the game as they race around technical tracks at blazingly fast speeds trying to smash those track records.
Anzu and Ubisoft signing a deal marks a brand new chapter for the world’s leading in-game ad platform as Ubisoft creates some of the best video game titles and securing them for in-game ads will give Anzu a big push. Trackmania is the latest release by Ubisoft in its long-running franchise and this time around, the developer has gone a brand new direction for the franchise and having Anzu aboard them will definitely help the publisher display ads that are not too invasive for the players and subtly get the message across as well.
The ads provided by Anzu will be displayed on billboards, bridges, along the sidetracks and walls which will give Trackmania a more realistic look and feel as players will get to see real-world brands there rather than fake, in-game adverts that are just there for the sake of filling the ad spaces. This is the main strength of Anzu’s platform that it displays ads inside video games without hindering any sort of experience.
Anzu’s co-founder and CEO, Itamar Benedy commented on the new partnership:
Together with Ubisoft, we are creating a new ecosystem for game developers and brands to experience efficient and scalable in-game advertising. Trackmania is a historic franchise and we are excited to partner with Ubisoft to generate value for them through our technology, innovation and expertise. The partnership will allow more gaming giants to experience how they can enhance their games with real-world brand ads all while driving new, sustainable revenue streams.
Anzu has been expanding its digital reach of exclusive partnerships for quite some time and their previous partnerships include Unfinished Pixel, Takuya Banno, the president of Tozai Games, Lion Castle, Zula, APB Reloaded, Vivid Games, and Toplitz Productions. Anzu.io is also the only in-game ad platform with the highest-level security audit ISO 27001 certification.
