In this Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Weapons Guide, we will show you every weapon that is available in the game. Weapons that will range from different rarities, as well as how to obtain them and what upgrades you can apply to these weapons.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a game that offers a large variety of weapons for the player. Each of these weapons performs in a unique way through its own weakness and strength. In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey there are 6 different types of weapons:

  • Spears
  • Swords
  • Daggers
  • Heavy Bladed Weapons
  • Heavy Blunt Weapons
  • Staves

We will also cover all the legendary weapons that can be found in the game, while also adding that these weapons can be upgraded with certain Engravings that you can find and apply on to your weapon.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Weapon Rarity Types

There are 4 types of rarities for weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. These rarities are namely: Common Weapons, Rare Weapons, Epic Weapons and Legendary Weapons.

For Common Weapons only 1 perk can be applied on to such weapons. Rare Weapons allow 2 perks on the weapon. Epic Weapons allow 3 perks that can be applied to them. Lastly, Legendary Weapons allow 2 perks and 1 unique Engraving that can be applied on to such weapons.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Weapon Types

The different types of weapons that are in the game as are follows:

Swords
Swords are straightforward and versatile that offer short range attack. The sword can be used for a heavy attack after a parry to knock down an enemy. The weapons are good for fast combat because of their quick attacks. Swords in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey can be used against all enemies.

Daggers
Daggers are the fastest weapon in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. These dual wielded can be used to attack ferociously where adrenaline regeneration is quick. Heavy attack for daggers can be used to leap across the battlefield wile attacking, giving you the best way to quickly change targets in combat.

Heavy Bladed
Heavy bladed weapons offer a good balance between slow and powerful attacks. These weapons can be used for a sweeping attack that can take down multiple enemies at once when you activate a charged heavy attack.

Staves
Staff can be used to knocking down enemies. When used with a heavy attack, staff can be good for hitting enemies from a distance, while a heavy attack after a parry can hit all enemies nearby.

Legendary Swords

Gorgoneion Xiphos
You can obtain this weapon by looting a cultist called The Hydra. An engraving on this weapon reduces your chances of getting stunned on a melee hit.

Harpe Of Perseus
You can obtain this weapon by looting Medusa in the Petrified Temple. An engraving on this weapon will reduce 25% cooldown duration for all Abilities.

Nikolaos’ Sword
This weapon can be obtained after completing the quest The Wolf of Sparta in Megaris. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with the Sparta Kick Ability.

Pandora’s Kopis
This weapon can be obtained by looting from the legendary animal The Nemean Lion found in Argolis. An engraving on this weapon gives 100% damage and 50% health for tamed beasts.

Prometheus’ Sika
This weapon can be obtained by looting a mercenary called The Spark. An engraving on this weapon increases 15% fire damage and buildup.

Sword Of Damokles
This weapon can be obtained by looting from a cultist called Deimos. An engraving on this weapon allows 10% increase to all adrenaline gained.

Xiphos of Dionysos
This weapon can be obtained by looting a cultist called Pausanias. Note: Pausanias can only be killed during his quest line in the main story of the game. an engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Hero Strike ability.

Xiphos of Peleus
This weapon can be found in a legendary chest that is in the Artemisia Fort in Kos. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Rush Assassination ability.

Legendary Daggers

Arachne’s Stingers
This weapon can be obtained by looting a mercenary called The Weaver. An engraving on this weapon allows weapon damage to turn into poison damage.

Atlantean Blade
This weapon can be found in a legendary chest when you are in the cultist stronghold on Lemnos. The chest is placed inside a vault that can be unlocked by completing Phidia’s side quest called Journey’s End in Elis. An engraving on this weapon increases 30% armor penetration.

Dagger of Kronus
This weapon can be obtained by looting a cultist called Nyx the Shadow. An engraving on this weapon increases 40% damage when attacked from behind.

Legendary Heavy Blunt Weapons

Hammer of Jason
This weapon can be found in a legendary chest at Mycenae in Argolis. An engraving on this weapon allows 20% damage with Shield Breaker ability.

Mallet of Everlasting Flame
This weapon can be obtained by looting a mercenary called The Smoldering. An engraving allows the weapon to deal fire damage.

Herakles’ Mace
This weapon can be found in a legendary chest at the Sanctuary of Demeter and Kore in Arkadia. An engraving on this weapon increases 40% damage with bows when above target.

Typhon’s Mace
This weapon can be obtained by looting the mercenary and cultist called Exekias the Legend. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with charged heavy attack ability.

Legendary Heavy Bladed Weapons

Elysian Axe
This weapon can be obtained by looting a cultist called Polemion the Wise. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Rain of Destruction ability.

Minotaur’s Labrys
This weapon can be obtained by looting the Minotaur at the Knossos Palace in Messara. An engraving on this weapon reduces 1 adrenaline cost for Overpower abilities.

Polyphemos Cyclops Bludgeon
This weapon can be obtained by looting the Cyclops at the cave of Forgotten Isle in Phokis. An engraving on this weapon increases 25% damage on elite enemies and bosses.

Legendary Staffs

Rod of Asklepios
This weapon can be obtained by looting a cultist called Iokaste the Seer. An engraving on this weapon converts crit chance to damage.

Legendary Spears

Achilles Spear
This weapon can be found in a legendary chest that is at the Olynthos Fortress in Makedonia. An engraving increases 20% damage with the Multi Shot ability.

Athena’s Spear
This weapon can be obtained after completing the quest the final Battle or Nemesis. An engraving on this weapon increases 25% damage and health while in conquest battles.

Falx of Olympos
This weapon cab be found in a legendary chest that is at the Palace of Amphitrite which is underwater in the sea north of Thera. An engraving on this weapon increases 100% damage but health is capped 25%.

Griffin’s Scythe
This weapon can be obtained by looting a mercenary called The Patricidal. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% with the Spread Shot ability.

Hades’ Bident
This weapon can be found in the legendary chest that is at the Mount Ithome Fort in Messenia. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Ring of Chaos ability.

Hermes’ Kerukeion
You receive this weapon after you complete the quest Let My Patients Go. An engraving on this weapon increases 15% poison damage and buildup.

Staff of Hermes Trismegistus
You receive this weapon after you complete the quest Ancient Revelations. An engraving on this weapon reduces the chance to gain 30% health shield when hit.

Poseidon’s Trident
This weapon can be found in a legendary chest that is at the Temple of Poseidon on the uncharted island south of Chios. An engraving on this weapon allows you to breathe underwater.

Legendary Bows

Achilles’ Bow
This weapon can be obtained by looting a mercenary called The Marksman. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Devastating Shot ability.

Artemis’ Bow
You receive this weapon after you complete the quest The Daughters of Artemis. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Predator Shot ability.

Eros’ Bow
This weapon is found in a legendary chest that is located at the Andania Mine in Messenia. An engraving on this weapon increases 50% chance to not consume special arrows.

Fanged Bow
This weapon can be found in a legendary chest that is located at the Cave of Mount Zas in Naxos. An engraving on this weapon allows basic arrows to become poison arrows.

Hades’ Bow
This weapon can be obtained by looting a mercenary OF the Ashen Wake. An engraving on this weapon allows basic arrows to turn into fire arrows.

Herakles’ Bow
This weapon can be found in the legendary chest that is located at the Koinyra Fortness in Thasos An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Bull Rush ability.

Paris’ Bow
This weapon can be obtained by looting a cultist called Kleon the Everyman. An engraving on this weapon increases 20% damage with Ghost Arrows of Artemis ability.
