In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, you will be experiencing some new type of abilities. In AC Valhalla, Skills and Abilities are 2 different things and have different effects on the playstyle. At a time, you can assign a total of 8 abilities to Eivor (four from each) to suit your playstyle. In this guide, we have listed all the abilities that are present in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ranged Abilities

In AC Valhalla, there are a number of ranged abilities present which focused on stealth and special attacks from your bows. There is a total of 8 ranged abilities in AC Valhalla which we have listed below.

Ranged Poison Strike

With this ability, you will be able to apply a poisonous layer over the arrow that will immediately impact the enemy. There are eight different kinds of ranged abilities in Assassin’s Creed, and all of them can be found in various locations in Norway and England.

Raven Distraction

This one can be found in Tonnastadir, from where you will find the key. Further, the icon will pop up, and you will follow the secret passage. Through this ability, Eivor can perform special moves during combats.

Mark of death

You can find this ability in the tower of Melbourne. There you will have to take the key from the guard, and after that, you will have the ability to mark the enemy and release a group of arrows towards him.

Thorn of Slumber

This one can be found at the bottom of the watchtower. There you will see a floor which would be breakable. Go through it to find the Thorn of slumber. With this, you will have a Scenfnthorn symbol that will put the enemy in a sleepy state instantly.

Kick of Try

This ability will give you power in the legs, and with the kick, you will be able to send the enemy back to the ground.

Piercing shot

You will find this ability in Templebrough Fort. For this, you will need to climb the fort and enter, and then kill one of the guards. Then shoot an arrow through any object with full force, and it will pierce it through.

The Focus of the Nornir

To claim this ability, you need to follow the storyline. When you reach Offchurch, you will get it there. It will help you to aim and shoot the arrows at the enemy with multiple damages.

Man’s Best Friend

In order to obtain this ability, you will need to unleash your wolf on the enemy

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Melee Abilities

Melee abilities are opposite style of ranged and focus on up close, brute force action with your enemies. There is a total of 7 melee abilities in AC Valhalla, and we have listed them below.

Rush and bash

You will find this ability in Ravensburg, and to claim it, you need to punch continuously, and when you face an enemy, then grab them and slam on to the wall to see the result and the damage.

Poison Strike

You can use this ability over a melee weapon and can attack the enemy. The poison will show its effect from time to time and affect the enemy.

Harpoon Impalement

Go to Sons of Ragnar to get this ability. You will need to find the secret entrance, and when you go down in the hole there, you will find the Harpoon Impalement.

Rage of Helheim

For this, you will need to go to the waterfall where you will find a secret cave. Go inside and find the chest. This ability will give you rage and will help you beat the enemy to the ground.

Blinding rush

To claim this ability, you need to visit the Ruined Tower. You will find a boarded floor. Break it and the wall which you will find. Behind it, you will see the oil jars, and there you will find the blinding rush ability.

Dive of the Valkyries

This ability allows you to launch yourself in the air and land on enemies to deal damage. This ability is present in the Isle of Ely Monastery and can be found during a raid. In the large courtyard, head inside the door and down the stairs to get the ability.

Throwing Axe Fury

This ability allows you to throw axes at your enemies. To find this, head south-west of Nottail to the cave and enter it. The ability will be here.
