This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Hoard Treasure Guide will show you where you can find the Hoard Map treasures in the game. Each of the regions contains a Hoard Map, which gives you a clue for the treasure that you can collect.
Hoard Maps are not so easy to find and need to be located first. Once you find a Hoard Map, the clue will show you a rough location and an image of where you can likely find it. Our guide will help you get each Hoard Map of a region, and the treasure location so you don’t have to waste any time looking for them in random places.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Hoard Treasure Guide
Below we have detailed all the Hoard Maps and their treasure locations.
Rygjafylke Hoard Map Treasure
- Reward: Snakebite Scheme (Sail)
The first thing you need to do is to find the Rygjafylke Hoard Map which can be found Kjotve’s Fortress. This is a story related area which you will eventually make your way to and clear out. The fortress is on the far northeast part of the map which when explored will also have a Dock fast travel point that you can use.
Go to the fortress area via the docks and on the way to the fortress, you will find the Hoard Map for this region inside one of the houses, placed on top of a table next to a window. The clue itself will tell you that the treasure is at Torghatten Rock. However, the treasure itself is inside a cave in this region. From the fast travel point, head inside the cave and loot some items from the skeleton corpses. You will eventually find the treasure buried under a pile of sticks and rocks but highlighted enough to be easily spotted.
Ledecestrescire Hoard Map Treasure
- Reward: Snakebite Scheme (Shields)
To first obtain the Hoard Map for this treasure, you need to go to the southernmost part of Ledecestrecire near the ruins. Head to the river side of the ruins where you will find a Zealot here that you will have to defeat. When you are done, head to the dark tunnels near the river, crawl through the hole on the right which takes you to a tomb. Now pick up the map from the tomb itself straight ahead.
The treasure for this Hoard Map is found just a little north from where you find the map. As you can see from the clue, the image shows a large rocky cliff with an opening where you will find the treasure. Head up north from the ruins and you will come across a small rocky cliff, with a few trees right at the face of the cliff. Climb up behind the tree, and make your way all the way to the wall of this cliff face. Here you will find the Hoard Map Treasure.
East Anglia Hoard Map Treasure
- Reward: Snakebite Scheme (Tailpiece)
The East Anglia Hoard Map can be found on the south island of East Anglia on Beodoricsworth, specifically near the Synchronization Fast Travel on the western part of the island. When you fast travel to this location, you will find a church tower that you need to climb up to get a key. Take the key, return back outside and open the locked small building and take the map from the table.
The treasure will be on the northeast island of the map, again near the Synchronization fast travel on this island. The treasure will be northeast from Northwic, in a small circular area surrounded by statues.
Oxenefordscire Hoard Map Treasure
- Reward: Snakebite Scheme (Figurehead)
The map can be found near Eatun Barn, west of Oxeneforda. When you reach the location, you will find a small farm with a cave entrance. The cave will be blocked so you will have to use any explosive item to break it open. Head inside and go to the left where you need to find a crack in the wall that you can slip through. The map will be next to a marble slab.
For the treasure, you need to head south from the location where you found the map. You specifically have to look for a water well next to the tree. Climb down the well and drop down in the area below where you will find the treasure.
Sciropescire Hoard Map Treasure
- Reward: Vidarr Scheme (Head)
The map itself can be found west of Wenlocan Abbey, at the Sync fast travel point. From the fast travel, head to the tower inside and shoot the net hanging from above. This will cause it to come crashing down and create a hole on the ground. Head down this hole and into a new area where you will find the map.
The treasure will be west from the last location, just north of Caustow Castle. You will find a small water pond on the map just north of Caustow Castle so make your way there. The treasure will be in the pond and you can simply swim and collect it.
