Firestorm is Battlefield V’s new battle royale mode and it brings a completely new map to the mix, Halvoy. It is one of the biggest maps to ever come to Battlefield and it is full of different unique locations.
Just like every other battle royale game, each location on the map has its own unique aspects. Some locations give you high tier loot but they also attract the most players to land at the start. Some locations offer low-level loot however these locations are relatively safer to land right at the start and favors players who are just starting the mode.
Map Guide – Battlefield V Firestorm
Our Battlefield V Firestorm Map Guide will guide you on the best landing locations of Battlefield V Firestorm.
Things to Remember
Each match is unique just like any other battle royale title because the game will have a different playable area each time which shrinks as the match progresses. Based on your current map, you can pick any location mentioned in the guide based on what you want right at the start of the match. The locations we share below are functional in all modes whether you play solo or with friends.
High-Tier Loot/High Traffic Locations
The areas that offer the highest level of loot also attracts the highest number of players right at the start of the game. These locations are kill zones and you will find the most action happening in these locations. If you prefer high-level loot and are not afraid of some action right from the start, you can land in Friggatind, Minerva Docks and Pluto. Beginners must try to avoid these locations until they get a good grip over the game.
In addition, Odenberg, Arctic Lake and Hodstad are also high-tier loot and high traffic areas. These areas will attract the most traffic when the match starts and the most action happens here during the early hours of the match. If you prefer quitter starts and want to engage with other enemies, then you must avoid these areas. The next section of the guide is for you.
Low-Tier Loot/Low Traffic Locations
If a subtler approach is your style and you want to loot and scavenge in peace before heading into the main action areas than you can try landing in Nannahavn, Baldr’s Point and the west side of Halvdeler is also a low traffic landing spot. Hansen Farms is also a quiet location and you will also find some vehicles here.
Land in these locations, gear up and then move to other areas in search of better gear and some action. Low traffic areas do not mean that no one will land in these locations. You will often fight some players in these locations but the level of activity is much higher in locations mentioned in the first section of the guide.
