Merge Games has announced the release date of its upcoming indie brawler game Bounty Battle. Developed by Dark Screen Games, Bounty Battle is releasing on consoles and PC on July 16, 2020. The game will feature 1-4 player beat-‘em-up action with characters from all over the world of indie games. A brand-new trailer featuring the amazing roster of the game has also been released by the developer.
Bounty Battle is a new 2D fighter where you pit your Indie heroes against one and other. You will see some of your most favorite characters from different franchises brawl with each other in Bounty Battle such as Guacamelee! Dead Cells, Darkest Dungeon, Owlboy, and many more. In all, the game features 30 fighters from over 20 different indie titles for you to duke it out. Each fighter comes with its own unique Minion companion and unique abilities. Stages inspired by different indie franchises are also part of the game.

Merge Games has also announced that apart from the digital release, Bounty Battle is also getting the Signature Edition treatment with a limited-edition physical release. The Bounty Battle Signature Edition is now available for pre-order exclusively at the Signature Edition website. The Signature Edition will release later in August 2020.
