Bugsnax: Legendary Bugsnax Guide

Below we have detailed how to beat the Legendary Bugsnax in the game.

Daddy Cakelegs

Daddy Cakelegs can be captured during a side quest in Frosted Peak with Snorpy. During the quest, go into the cave with Snorpy. There will be a heap of snow there having a candle on the top of it. Use the trip shot tool to light up the candle and it will wake up Daddy Cakelegs.

There will be some large ice blocks in the cave and Daddy Cakelegs will walk around them. Use your trip shot tool to shoot fires to melt these blocks before Cakelegs walks into them. Your objective is to light all the candle on Daddy Cakelegs’ top.

Once you do so, Daddy Cakelegs will disappear and move to a new location. It will also leave a few Baby Cakelegs behind and you can pick one to add to your collection. Now go to the new location and again light up the candle on the heap to wake him up. Again, your objective is to light all the candle on Daddy Cakelegs’ top until he disappears to a new location.

In the third and last location, Daddy Cakelegs will be moving much quicker so it will become more difficult to light up all the candles. Once you successfully light all the candles on top of him, it will shrink down and you can easily catch it using your net.

Mama Mewon

Mama Mewon can be captured during a side quest in Flavor Falls with Chandlo. Head into Mama Mewon’s lair with Chandlo to start the battle with it. There will be several statues inside the lair and once the Bugsnax is awake, many Wee Mewons will start running around these statues. Put down your Snak Trap near one of the statues to catch a Wee Mewon.

Once a Wee Mewon is trapped, Mama Mewon will rush to save it and slam into the statue, causing her to be staggered. While she is staggered, use the Snak Grappler to pull down the stalactite on top of it. Repeat this three times which will cause Mama Mewon to transform and chase you. It will hit you which will start a short cutscene with Chandlo.

After the cutscene, wait for Chandlo to distract Mama Mewon and once he does, use your Snak Grappler to again to pull the stalactite and now you will be able capture it easily.

Megamaki

Megamaki can be captured during a side quest in Boiling Bay with Wiggle. Follow Wiggle to Megamaki’s summoning song and it will appear with a bunch of tall stone rods from the ocean. Use the Trip Shot to interrupt Megamaki’s path between the rods and hit it.

When it hits the wire, it will split into lots of pieces called Minimaki. These will start running around at random. You need to catch as many as you can in your net. Keep repeating this process until you catch all of the Minimaki. It will cause Megamaki to be on its own now and can now be caught easily using your net.

Mothza Supreme

Mothza Supreme can be captured during a side quest in Sizzlin’ Sands with Cromdo. Head to the top of the pyramid with Cromdo to start the fight. A large pizza cutter will emerge from the sand. Head to it and use the Snak Grappler to bring it down. This will reveal a Bombino. Throw this bugsnax onto the plinth in the middle of the pyramid and then place the Lunchpad on the plinth to summon the Mothza Supreme.

This bugsnax will shower a lot of explosive Bugsnax. Pick one up and place it down on the Lunchpad on top of the pyramid. Launch it towards the Mothza who if it, will fall to the ground. Run down to the large pizza cutter and use the Snak Grappler to bring it down on the Mothza Supreme. Repeat this process a second time.

After that is done, again pick up a Bombino but this time, approach the Mothza Supreme from below and throw the Bombino up into the tornado. It will weaken him and you will finally be able to catch the beast.
