Gearbox has officially revealed that Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch is arriving on Nintendo Switch in early summer. Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch is the complete Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition and nothing will be cut from the full game for the Nintendo Switch version.
Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch will also include all DLC released for the title which also includes Duke Nukem as a playable character will be part of the Nintendo Switch version and it not be a separate purchase.
In Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, Duke Nukem was later released as a DLC character which was a separate purchase however it allowed players to complete the entire game while playing as Duke Nukem.
Bulletstorm was originally released back in 2011 and it was one of my favorite shooters back then. It features a unique skill based combat which rewarded you for killing enemies using different skills. The game focuses on the story of a Gray and Ishi who crash on an alien planet and are hell-bent on getting revenge from General Sarrano who had used their black ops team for assassinating innocent people.
A remastered version Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition was later in 2017 released on modern consoles which brought back all the awesome mechanics along with shiny new visuals for players to enjoy the game on modern consoles and PC. Now, this very same version is headed to Nintendo Switch. It will include all DLC which is a very good thing because players can play the entire game as Duke Nukem.
At this point, no further information has been released about the title apart from its confirmation and a release window. Gearbox mentioned during its PAX East presentation today that more details about the title will be released in the coming days.
Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch is slated for an early summer 2019 release.
