astragon Entertainment and stillalive studios have officially revealed Bus Simulator 21 and have released a trailer featuring officially licensed electric Mercedes-Benz buses. Bus Simulator 21 is the latest title in their long-running bus simulator franchise and is poised to be the biggest and the best title in the franchise so far. The new trailer reveals two brand-new Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses marking the entry of e-buses into the game.
Mercedes-Benz has been a long-term partner of the Bus Simulator franchise and this partnership will continue in Bus Simulator 21 as well as the luxury automotive maker is bringing its two brand-new buses to the game. The two eCitaro buses have been made in remarkable detail for the title. You will have a small two-doored, 12-meter-long, maneuverable eCitaro electric bus with two axles and a large three-door, 18-meter-long eCitaro G articulated bus equipped with three axles.
Other Mercedes-Benz buses included in the game are the Citaro G, the agile Citaro K, an up-to-date version of the Citaro O 530, the CapaCity, and the extra-long CapaCity L articulated bus. The game will feature an impressive lineup of buses this year of various sizes. This time around, you will have over 30 officially licensed buses ranging from city buses, articulated buses, e-buses and a double-decker bus.
There is plenty of space for driving all these buses in the game’s European-based city “Seaside Valley” and a new San Francisco Bay Area-inspired setting called “Angel Shores”. The company management is back where you will be able to create your own local transport company solo or co-op with a friend. Bus Simulator is gearing up to be the biggest title in the franchise with its large roster of buses, two huge islands to explore, refined gameplay, and an array of expanded features.
Bus Simulator 21 will release later this year on September 7, 2021, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A Steam page for the game is now live where you can add the game to your wishlist. The game will cost $34.99 on PC and $49.99 on consoles. You will be able to play your respective console version on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with backward compatibility as well. Make sure that you check out our review of last year’s Bus Simulator 20 in which we reviewed the previous release in the franchise.
