The release date of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered has been leaked online by data miners. The leak was posted on Reddit where the image of the cover art of the game was also shared online.
According to the art image, the game is being titled Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, which suggests that the game might only feature the campaign story without any online multiplayer mode available. The leaked image shows the original image that was the cover of the 2009 game, except with the addition of Campaign Remastered at the bottom of the title. Take a look at the image below:
Call of duty Modern Warfare 2 was originally released back in 2009, following the release of the first game in the title, Modern Warfare in 2007. We have already seen a remastered version of the original game, and a remaster of the second title was always on the cards after its successful release.
I just spoke to @Okami13_, and according to him, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is releasing next Monday on the 30th of March!

On the other hand, TheGamingRevolution tweeted mentioned that the game is releasing as early as next Monday on 30th of March. If true, we might be having the game in just two days. However, this rumor should be taken by a grain of salt as Activision has not said anything about it, especially considering that the rumored released date is just a couple of days away.
There are also more rumors running around that the third title in the series, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is already in development, which was also shared by TheGamingRevolution. There are no more details from the source, other than the game has been in development for quite some time now. Having said that, it makes sense that Activision might already be working on the game’s development, especially if they are ready to launch Modern Warfare 2 Remastered anytime soon.
