Windguard Abilities
This class has three main abilities with different effects:
Salvation Surge
This ability allows you to target an ally and rush towards them to grant a temporary shield. This shield protects your teammate and yourself while healing a small among in return. The ability also reduces the fireballs’ recharge time.
This ability is pretty self-explanatory, but should not be overlooked as it is the best way to support your allies in a tough situation. It is also the best way you can take the target off from your vulnerable teammates by soaking up all the projectiles and incoming attacks with the shield.
Smoke Trail
When used, the ability releases an opaque, poisonous trail behind your dragon that prevents opponents from targeting you and avoiding them chasing you. The ability works great when your team has the flag and you are escorting them.
Leaving behind the smoke trial keeps enemies off from your back if they are chasing right behind you, causing them to look for a different approach and buying you precious time in return.
Blast
This class also has the Blast ability, much like Phantom, where you can launch an exploding projectile that unleashes a shockwave upon pressing the ability button a second time, or when colliding with a surface.
The best way to use this ability on the enemies is to throw them off when they are about to reach the gate with the flag. Blast also works by disrupting the opponent team by splitting them up if you use it effectively.
