Clockwork Aquario Teaser Trailer

Strictly Limited Games and ININ Games have just revealed the Clockwork Aquario teaser trailer after the game has been dormant for almost 30 years. The game will finally see the light of day as it releases in the second quarter of 2021 for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 both digitally and physically.

The physical edition of Clockwork Aquario will be available as a limited edition from Strictly Limited Games.

Check out the Clockwork Aquario teaser trailer below:

The teaser trailer shows incredibly beautiful hand-drawn images of the three main characters along with the gameplay footage of this arcade treasure. With its beautiful pixel art to win the viewer over, the game features vibrant colors and the three unique characters: Huck Londo, the daring hero, Elle Moon, the brave adventuress and Gush, the warmhearted giant robot.

As the last arcade game developed by the legendary Westone Bit Entertainment back in 1993, Clockwork Aquario never really finished in its development. Ever since then, the game has been thought to be lost in time. However, Strictly Limited Games set out on the mission to dig deep into the video game archeology and save the game from being lost forever.

Ryuichi Nishizawa, who is better known for being the founder and creator of Wonder Boy, has led the development of the game that encapsulates the spirit of and story about a boy, a girl and a robot in the near future, crushing the ambitions of enemies who plan to take over the world.

Clockwork Aquario is a great piece of 2D art, into which the pixel artists put their hearts and souls. I would like to express my heartfelt respect and gratitude to those who have worked so hard to restore it

The game is a two-player couch co-op that is not only colorful and eye candy, but also fun in fighting off enemies in a non-stop action. Post your comments below.
