What are Titles
Titles are your own land or territory that you own in the game. Depending on the type of land you own. This can be from small lands like counties to kingdoms and empires. If you own a larger land, any small land in the territory will be in your claim.
Instead of having to fight other characters to own land or territory, the game allows you to go to the religious advisor on your council, and claim a territory that you want from this menu. Gaining more territory allows you to expand your power in the region boost your legacy in the game.
How to Grant Titles
The game also allows you to grant titles to any character you want in the game. This can be done by selecting a character and choosing the option where you can choose the available titles or gifts that you can give to this chosen individual.
Granting titles to other characters will require you to keep a check on your titles. You can easily lose a title if one of the characters marries into a new dynasty, resulting in the loss of your title.
