Cult of the Lamb is an interesting game where some tasks that you perform for your benefit can backfire on you as it can negatively affect the loyalty of your Followers by reducing their faith in you. But you can immediately address this situation by engaging in activities that can increase your cult’s faith.
Hold Sermons and Bless Your Followers
The first and the best way to significantly increase the Faith of your Followers is by giving Sermons daily. Go to your Temple to give a Sermon and this will positively increase the Faith of your Followers. Sermons are not only good for increasing the faith but also gives you beneficial powers that you can then use on Crusades
Another activity that you should perform daily is to Bless your Followers. Talking to each Follower will grant them a blessing for the day, increasing their loyalty and Faith.
Bring in More Followers
Conversion and bringing in more Followers to your cult is an indication that you are doing something right. This increases the Faith of your older Followers as it shows that more people are interested in the group or that it is that it speaks the truth. Lookout for Follower requests that will allow you to recruit more Followers.
Speaking on Follower Requests, these are small tasks that a Follower with the dialogue option will request from you. Completing requests from Followers will increase their faith and will also increase their loyalty
Crusades
Crusades are missions where you have to fight and beat bosses and mini bosses. Once you fight and come back as the victor, this will increase the Faith of your Followers when you return after the battle.
Although Crusades can be tough, you can always have the Crown Ability Omnipresence which lets you teleport back to your cult when running low on health, removing the risk of defeat.
Rituals and Doctrines
There are plenty of Rituals that you can perform that grant positive Faith like the Holy Day Ritual and the Bonfire Ritual, both rewarding you with +80 and +30 Faith. These Rituals ensure that you have other main ways to increase the Faith of your Followers.
The game also has traits that you can unlock as these are called Doctrines. While some of these traits negatively impact Faith, others work in the opposite way by rewarding you with Faith.
