BT Boss Battle Guide – Death Stranding
Our Death Stranding BT Boss Battle Guide details everything that you need to know about defeating the BT boss at the end of the second chapter in Death Stranding.
Hematic Grenades are the Key
The only effective thing against this boss is Hematic Grenades. Right from the beginning of the boss fight, if you have some Hematic Grenades, start throwing them at the boss. They will greatly damage the boss as it will dissolve in the liquid and try to pick another place to take its form again.
Your best bet against the BT boss’s tentacle attacks is to stick to the roofs. You will find plenty of roofs in this area so make sure that you are on them. Avoid moving around on the ground since the black liquid is only going to make you move around slowly and thus making you more vulnerable to the boss’ attacks. In addition, while you are on the rooftops, the boss cannot charge at you.
During the boss fight, if you run out of Hematic Grenades, don’t worry. Use your scanner and all grenades around you will be highlighted. Make sure that you always look around for more Hematic Grenades because if you run out of these, you will never defeat the boss. Hematic Grenades are the only effective weapon against the BT boss.
Stick to the roofs, find more Hematic Grenades and avoid the black liquid and you will defeat the BT boss in no time. Keep throwing Hematic Grenades until all of the health bars of the boss are depleted. Once the boss is dead, it will drop some Chiral Crystals so make sure that you pick them up after the boss is dead before moving ahead.
