Hideo Kojima has just released a new teaser trailer of Death Stranding. The trailer is a thirty-second teaser for the highly anticipated game by Hideo Kojima himself. The teaser is called “Create the Rope.” Your guess is as good as our on what it means.
The teaser video shows the outline of a hand where the words “Create the Rope” is written, while some mysterious flashes and scenes can be seen inside the shape of the hand. It is quite hard to make sense of what is going on in the video, but you can take a look at it for yourself. The video does show a glimpse of the protagonist, Norman Reedus, and some materials and equipment that we have been familiarized with over the course of its previous trailers, and gameplay videos.

Continuing with its tradition of keeping it all a secret, the teaser does give out any information and will leave people guessing and most likely confused. We still have no information when the game would actually come out, or if it will even release on the current generation of Sony’s console, the PlayStation 4. However, that seems unlikely as the PlayStation 4 era is coming to an end, with rumors of PlayStation 5 going to be announced sometime next year.
Fortunately for people who need more details, there have been rumors that a new trailer for the Sony exclusive game would be released today. However, with the release of this teaser, it is quite possible that a new trailer is just around the corner.
Death Stranding was announced three years ago and is in development as a Sony exclusive game. It is also the first game by Hideo Kojima after his split from Konami. It is because of the creator, plus the cast actors in the game that has hyped the game since its reveal last year. The game features a number of celebrity actors, that include The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus as the protagonist, as well as Lea Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Lindsay Wagner, Guillermo del Toro, and Troy Baker.
