Arbalest Exotic Kinetic Fusion Rifle
The Arbalest is a Kinetic Fusion Rifle and it comes with Compounding Force intrinsic perk and Disruption Break legendary trait. With Compounding Force, you can fire slugs that cause a huge amount of damage to enemy shields. On the other hand, Disruption Break will increase the rifles Kinetic Damage which the gun deals with the enemies once their shields are down.
This is a very powerful rifle as you can take down both your enemy’s shield and their health quickly with the perk and trait. To purchase the weapon, you will need 300 Reveler’s Essence and the weapon is available at Eva Levante. Before you can purchase this rifle, however, you must complete seven events out of ten and unlock the Party Hard Triumph.
How to Unlock
These events are best completed with a fireteam so it is recommended that you bring along some friends as well. You have to complete seven Triumph events. The total number of events is ten however the weapon can be unlocked right after you complete any seven events. Events are detailed below.
- A Bountiful Spring
- Complete 50 daily and weekly bounties for Eva.
- Budding Fashion
- Wear four pieces of Revelry armor and defeat 20 bosses
- Verdant Light Events
- Generate 200 Orbs of Light in any Black Armory Forge or Verdant Forest.
- Verdant Light Competitive
- Generate 200 Orbs of Light in Gambit or Crucible.
- Melee Mayhem
- Get 100 melee kills in Strikes, Crucible or Gambit.
- Fireworks!
- Get 100 grenade kills in Strikes, Crucible or Gambit.
- Super Celebratory
- Use Supers to defeat 150 enemies.
- Spring Hunt
- Defeat a minimum of three bosses in a single run of the Verdant Forest.
- Verdant Light Cooperative
- Generate 200 Orbs of Light in raids or Strikes.
- Spring Cleaning
- Clear 50 Verdant Forest branches.
Only seven out of these ten events are required for the Exotic rifle. If you want to complete all ten events, you will unlock Party Harder and an exclusive Emblem. Once you have unlocked the Exotic rifle, you can start worrying about the next step which is collecting 300 Reveler’s Essence for it.
Lucky for you, the new area Verdant Forest is full of Chests and bosses that will give you Essence. Clearing branches will also give you Essence. If you want to jump online, complete some Public Events and Strikes to earn some Essence as well. Eva also has some bounties which will give you Essence as a reward.
Once you have the 300 Essence, simply head to Eva and purchase your new Arbalest Exotic Kinetic Fusion Rifle. The event runs until May however at this point it is not known whether the rifle will be available later in the Exotic loot pool or not. Just to be on the safe side, you should get the rifle while it is still available.
