The Division 2 PC Requirements Revealed, 4K/60 FPS Requires Serious Hardware

Ubisoft has released the PC requirements for The Division 2 and it looks like players will need some serious hardware if they want to run the game on the 4K with crisp 60 frames per second.

The Division 2 is two months away from launch and Ubisoft is steadily releasing more and more information about the game so that fans of the series are kept on their toes until the game comes out.

They have released a very detailed sheet showing the game requirements so that players who want to experience the best performance of the game can upgrade their systems accordingly if they have to.

Division 2 PC Requirements

The Division 2 comes loaded with different features such as a full UI, HUD customization, wide screen and multi-screen support, variable refresh rate, uncapped display resolution, uncapped frame rate and HDR support.

All these features obviously show that the game is going to be extremely demanding if you want to keep everything on. The PC requirements released by Ubisoftare divieded in four categories which show a different setting for the game and which sort of hardwarde is need for them.

Minimum – 1080p/30 FPS
  • OS: Windows 7 ,8, 10
  • Processor: AMD FX-6350, Intel Core I5-2500K
  • Memory: Processor: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 270,  Nvidia Geforce GTX 670
  • VRAM: 2 GB
  • DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12
Recommended – 1080p/60 FPS
  • OS: Windows 7, 8 ,10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X , Intel Core I7-4790
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD RX 480, Nvidia Geforce GTX 970
  • VRAM: 4 GB
  • DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12
High – 1440p/60 FPS
  • OS: Windows 7 ,8, 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700, Intel Core I7-6700K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD RX Vega 56, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070
  • VRAM: 8 GB
  • DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12
Elite – 4K/60 FPS
  • OS: Windows 7 ,8, 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, Intel Core I9-7900X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon VII, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 TI
  • VRAM: 11 GB
  • DIRECT X: DirectX 11, 12

You can aim for any of these categories and plan your build accordingly for which graphics settings and resolution you want to play on. You can see above that for 4K and 60 FPS, you will need a very serious build.

Earlier, Ubisoft and Epic Games announced that The Division 2 is coming exclusively on Epic Games Store and Uplay for PC. This time around, Ubisoft is completely skipping Steam as part of a deal done with Epic Games. After The Division 2, Ubisoft will also announce more titles which will be released exclusively through Epic Games Store on PC.

The Division 2 is slated for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 15, 2019.
