It seems that Ubisoft is happy after the release of The Division 2 through the Epic Games Store. Now the gaming giant wants to continue its relationship with Epic to release many more games through the game store in the near future.
Ubisoft has not provided any more information, especially of what games it will decide to launch via the Epic Games Store. Though they added that Ubisoft will be integrating its Uplay feature with Epic, so that users can share friends between the two services.
Epic Games also announced many titles coming to the Epic Games Store. This includes Obsidians The Outer Worlds and Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey from Panache Digital Games will also be made available.
There are other exclusive games coming via the store as well. The list of the games is detailed below:
- Heavy Rain
- Beyond Two Souls
- Detroit Become Human
- Afterpart from Night School Studios
- The Cycle from YAGER
- Solar Ash from Heart Machine and Annapura Interactive
- Kine from Chum Squad
- Industries of Titan from Brace Yourself Games
- Journey to the Savage Planet from Typhoon Studios/505 Games
- Spellbreak from Proletariat Inc.
- The Humanking Odyssey
- Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds
Epic Games also revealed that Deep Silver’s Metro Exodus was sold more than 2.5 million times as many copies in the first few weeks on the Epic games Store in comparison to the previous franchise release Metro: Last Light on Steam over the same period.
In addition, Unknown Worlds Entertainment’s Subnautica had over 4.5 million downloads in their two week of free offering of the game.
Epic Games Store is just months old, having launched in December of 2018. It has added many games to its exclusive list of titles and continues to do so. With the exclusive titles, free games, and its Fortnite fanbase, the store has grown to more than 85 million PC players.
