In this Far Cry New Dawn Dear Photograph Locations Guide, we will show you all the places you can find the Photographs. Taking all Dear Photographs will unlock the “Before” trophy/achievement.

To begin the “Thousand Words” side mission, you need to pick up Tracey’s Shoebox at Prosperity, which is also your home base. It will be upstairs on the right side of the main entrance of Prosperity. Once you have the shoebox, you can now go look for go the Dear Photographs.

The box contains 9 photographs of the old world that the place used to be like. The missions requires you to go to each of the location shown in each of the picture, and align the photos with how they were originally taken.

Below we have listed all the nine locations where you can go for to complete the Dear Photograph side mission. The spots shown in  the pictures are all listed below for you to complete this quest.

Dear Photograph # 1

This location is just outside of to the west of Prosperity. You will find a stool chair with a camera placed on it, looking at the direction of the same object as in the picture. Look at the same place the camera is pointing at, and the press the Up direction button to align the picture.

Dear Photograph # 2

This photograph spot at  the Rye and Daughter Aviation. Again you will find a stool chair that will have the camera pointed at the place you need to align the picture. Align the image and complete this part of the quest.

Dear Photograph # 3

This photograph spot is at the Chop Shop outpost. This time you are aligning the image of a destroyed water tank. Once you reach the location, locate the camera pointing at the water tank and align to complete this part.

Dear Photograph # 4

This photograph is just a little north of the Refinery Outpost. The spot is of another half destroyed structure that needs to be aligned up with the original photograph. Its best to stand right behind the camera facing the structure to get the best results.

Dear Photograph # 5

This photograph location is at the Sergey’s place, but facing the broken bridge from the river. Stand on the yellow mat with the camera, and look ahead at the broken bridge. Align the photo to complete this part.

Dear Photograph # 6

This Photograph location is at the Pantry Outpost. Stand across the outpost on the other side of the road where the camera is, and align the photo overlooking at the outpost. The original picture will have a small shack like structure, that is not present anymore.

Dear Photograph # 7

This photograph location is at the Chateau Boshaw. Go to the location and face where the camera is pointing at towards the structure facing west. Align the pictures of the mammoths crossing the area to complete this part of the quest.

Dear Photograph # 8

This photograph location is at the Old Compound where you have to take the picture of the old abandoned church that is half submerged in the river. Align the structure with the picture that shows how the original church looked like when it was in good shape.

Dear Photograph # 9

This photograph location is at the Joseph’s Sanctuary. Reach the location where the camera is and face the same way it is pointed. It will be pointing towards the river valley, where a dam originally used to be. Align the photo and complete the last of the photograph that are in this quest.

Once you have complete all nice of the Dear Photographs at their locations, the “A Thousand Words” side mission will be completed, and it will unlock the “Before” trophy/achievement.
