Publisher Green Man Gaming Publishing and developers Pewter Games Studios and LoPoly have announced the consoles release date for Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator. Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator was previously released on PC in April 2023 and now, on May 11, 2023, players will be able to play the game on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well. The developers have also announced that alongside the console launch, the PC version of the game will also receive a fresh update which will include improvements to gameplay and will include many quality-of-life upgrades as well.
The new update for the PC release comes after the developer took into consideration the ongoing testing and consumer feedback from the PC release. The console release will also incorporate these changes right at launch and from there, the developer will continue work on making the game even better. The console versions of the game will also be published by Green Man Gaming and will cost $19.99 across both platforms. At this point, we did not get any sort of gameplay trailer showcasing the title running on consoles however if you want to see the game in action, you can check out the previously released PC launch trailer below:
Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator is a chaotic multiplayer Heist game for 1-4 players that spans across 8 chapters featuring a total of 21 unique heist levels. You will take on the role of one of the mutant animals featured in the game who are following the orders of Tony, the Filthy Animal Bossman Criminal Mastermind. You will take part in different heists in the game such as a convenience store, bank robbery, secret military bases, and more. One of the missions will even take you out into space.
Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator is slated for release on Xbox and PlayStation consoles on May 11, 2023. Currently, it is available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The developer will share additional details about any future ports or releases later.
