Monastery Guide – Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Our Fire Emblem: Three Houses Monastery Guide details all activities, quests, and facilities that you can visit and explore in the game on your free days.

Meeting New People

The monastery is full of people that you can meet and interact with. Roam around, explore different areas and try to interact with everyone you see. Some characters will simply talk with you on random topics however sometimes you will get a certain quest from these characters which will allow you to create a much stronger relationship with people in the Monastery.

During your speech, you can also choose to give gifts to certain characters. If you present someone with a gift, they will be more comfortable with you in the future and it will increase your bonding with them. Increasing happiness of other characters is one of the main tasks that you will need to make people happy with you.

Sometimes you will also get the opportunity to hire some people from other houses. But unlike normal interactions, asking them to join you is not very simple. Most of the characters will have certain demands that you will be required to fulfill before they will join you. Others will ask for certain stats and skills. And to make things hard, you can only ask a character once a week to join you. If they refuse, you cannot ask them until a week has passed in the game.

Another fun thing you can do while exploring the Monastery is that you can find lost items and return them to their rightful owners. You will often find different items lying on the floor which were dropped by their owners. Find them and return them to their owners and you will earn favor from the character whose item you just returned back. This is really helpful in certain scenarios in the game.

Explore Facilities

There are tons of different facilities that you can explore in the Monastery. These facilities not only provide a good time pass but also help you in various scenarios. However, you should know that using Facilities consumes Activity Points. Every time you use a facility, it will consume 1 Activity Point. If you run out of Activity Points, you will not be able to use certain facilities. Some facilities, on the other hand, require items to operate. Having the required items are necessary for using such facilities.

You can do fishing which will grant you fish as well as experience for your Professor Level. It is very simple and easy to learn minigame that is fun to master. Apart from fishing, you can try your luck at gardening. Successful attempts will grant you with Professor Level and different cooking ingredients. Sometimes you will get gifts as well. You must have seeds to do gardening.

Apart from these solo activities, you can also partake in some activities in which you can invite some more characters with you. These include eating, cooking and choir practice. You can invite two more characters to these activities. Eating will increase the bond between your main character and the invited characters. Cooking provides buffs to your allies on the battlefield while choir practice will grant additional faith experience to invited characters.

Another fun part is counseling. Since you are a teacher and teachers often counsel, you can counsel in Fire Emblem: Three Houses as well. You will often find some letters which are submitted for answers. Open these letters and answer them to help different people by providing your answers to their questions. If they agree with your answer, your Support will increase.

Make Your Battalions Strong

During exploration, you can head to the Battalion Guild to manage your troops and ensure that they are on the top of their game. You can adjust your battalion by adding, removing people from there. If your battalion is incomplete, make sure they are replenished before they head out to battlefields. You must always keep an eye on your Battalion and your free days provide the best time to do so.

Complete Quests

While exploring the Monastery, you will often meet different characters who will offer you quests. Speak with them and complete their quests to unlock new facilities and gain more experience. Most of the characters post their quests on the bulletin board so you can head to the bulletin board and begin quests from there as well. Sometimes, you will also find some quests in the announcements about different events happening in the game. Make sure that you check them out as well if you want some new quests.
