The Minimum PC system requirements for Forza Horizon 5 have been unveiled, and from the first looks, they are not that demanding. This is good news for players who do not have the latest and greatest high-end systems, as they will be able to enjoy Forza Horizon, even with low to mid-range gaming systems.
Forza Horizon 5 was unveiled recently by Playground Games, and the announcement trailer for the racer looked stunning with great visuals. Following the game’s reveal earlier this week, new information was shared about the game running on Xbox Series X and Series X, including framerate and resolution.
Forza Horizon 5 will be targeting 4K@30FPS on Xbox Series X and 1080p@30FPS on Xbox Series S. Going by the resolution and framerate on Microsoft’s next-gen consoles, Forza Horizon 5 is quite demanding. Forza Horizon 5 will also have Ray tracing support; however, it will only be available in Forzavista mode, according to the developer Playground Games.
As for PC, only the minimum PC system requirements have been unveiled, which are listed below.
Forza Horizon 5 PC Minimum Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 version 15063.0 or higher
- Processor: Intel i3-4170 @ 3.7Ghz OR Intel i5 750 @ 2.67Ghz
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVidia 650TI OR AMD R7 250x
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 80 GB available space
These PC requirements are pretty okay for most of the gamers, considering the game being released in the day and age where even the minimum requirements to run AAA titles are getting behemoth now. But, of course, going by the Xbox target resolution and framerate, the recommended PC requirements will be a different story, and we will have to wait for them to be announced to see what kind of PC you will need to enjoy the game at maximum graphics.
Forza Horizon 5 will be launching this November on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
