Turn10 has just released a brand new racing game in the franchise of Forza games. This new racing game is called Forza Street and is currently out now for PC players for free. A mobile version of the game is supposed to come out sometime later.
Though the game was just announced by Turn 10, the game is actually a rebranding of the existing title Miami Street, which was released by Microsoft last year. Forza Street has been significantly updated to include a refreshed narrative, fast boot ups, upgraded car parts, new animations, languages, and audio.
The gameplay is totally different from any Forza titles, as Forza Street is not about steering your vehicle to victory. Instead, its gameplay is more time based and involves the player to click the left mouse button or spacebar to accelerate, and letting go to slow down around the turns.
In Forza Street, new Forza fans and seasoned drivers alike can collect and assemble a legendary lineup of cars to compete in intense, cinematic races. Whether players want to squeeze in a quick one-minute race or get immersed in a story campaign, every race is a chance to earn a performance icon from an ever-growing list of incredible cars, turning your garage into a trophy case.
You also get boosts that can be earned depending on how well you time your acceleration, and winning races that give you a constant stream of credits and car unlocks. There are also microtransactions in the game that allow you to unlock your favorite car in the game.
The game will continue to get more features in the future and the developers will actively engage with and listen to the community to make the game much better since they want the fans to take it with them everywhere. This, of course, means that they plan on bringing it on Android and iOS devices pretty soon in the near future.
While you can give the game a try on PC, mobile devices will be getting the game sometime later this year. A release date has not been confirmed as of yet.
