How to Get Firecrackers in Ghost of Tsushima

Firecrackers are actually obtained from the Ghost Weapons section of the pause menu. It is an ability and you have to work your way towards it. Luckily, there is only one pre-requisite ability that you have to purchase before you reach Firecrackers and that is Wind Chime. Both of these abilities cost 1 Technique Point so it should be fairly easy for you to unlock both of them early in the game.

How to Use Firecrackers in Ghost of Tsushima

Firecrackers are one of the most effective stealth items in your inventory. You will use them to distract enemies if you want to sneak past them or lure them into a trap and kill a group of enemies with a quick assassination. Firecrackers are noisy so even if the enemies are standing at some distance from each other, chances are that all of them will come running to the distance where you throw them.

To throw a Firecracker, you first have to select it. Press L2+Left on the D-Pad and choose Throw. Now equip the firecracker by pressing L2+Triangle. Now simply press and hold L2 and choose a direction where you want to throw the firecracker. Once you are happy with the location, press R2 and you will throw a firecracker at the targeted location. Get ready to run or assassinate the incoming enemies.
