Gigabyte is preparing to release the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards with its custom models. Gigabyte has submitted several different custom designs to EEC for approval and that has confirmed that the card will come with 12 GB GDDR6 memory.
Gigabyte is preparing to release a total of six different variants for the RX 6700 XT graphics card, which includes models from AORUS, Gaming, and Eagle series along with a reference model as well. The reference model has already been seen in previous leaks.
The Gigabyte lineup consists of the Radeon RX 6700 XT AORUS which is going to be the top model and that will be followed by the Gigabyte Gaming (OC) and Gigabyte Eagle (OC) series. If the company follows its previous launch pattern, in which the AORUS variants were launched a bit late compared to the standard Gigabyte offerings, then we may see the Eagle series card released first.
Following are the Gigabyte cards that were listed on the EEC website.
- Gigabyte RX 6700 XT AORUS (GV-R67XTAORUS E-12GD)
- Gigabyte RX 6700 XT Gaming OC (GV-R67XTGAMING OC-12GD)
- Gigabyte RX 6700 XT Gaming (GV-R67XTGAMING-12GD)
- Gigabyte RX 6700 XT Eagle OC (GV-R67XTEAGLE OC-12GD)
- Gigabyte RX 6700 XT Eagle (GV-R67XTEAGLE-12GD)
- Gigabyte RX 6700 XT (GV-R67XT-12GD-B)
The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphic card will utilize the full Navi 22 XT GPU SKU. The card is expected to feature 40 Compute Units or a total of 2560 stream processors while the Radeon RX 6700 with the Navi 22 XL GPU SKU is expected to feature a cut-down configuration. The graphics card will feature a 12 GB GDDR6 memory buffer along with a 192-bit bus interface. AMD will most likely use 16 Gbps dies which would net a total bandwidth of 384 GB/s for the cards.
The reference model has a dual-slot and dual fan design. The card features a dual axial-tech fan design and has the large “R” logo in the middle and on the fans too which represents the Radeon brand. Currently, we do not know what the pricing of the card will be and when it will be arriving to the market.
