Gran Turismo Sport Update v1.25 – Features Red Bull Ring, 8 New Cars, New GT League Events

Polyphony Digital has just released a new update v1.25 for Gran Turismo Sport. An update For Gran Turismo Sport is usually added for the fans at the end of every month. Updates usually include a few numbers of cars and occasionally a new race track. Gran Turismo Sport Update is out now; free to download for Playstation 4 users.

Gran Turismo Sport is the latest in the series of Gran Turismo, developed by Polophony Digital and produced by Kazunori Yamauchi. The Sport version of the game was released exclusively for Playstation 4 on October 17, 2017.

Since the release of the game, and the announcement by Kazunori of more DLC cars and tracks, Gran Turismo Sport continues to grow on a monthly basis. This August Update has bumped in more cars and a very classic and famous race track; Red Bull Ring, Spielberg, Austria. In addition to the track, 8 new cars have also been added.

Gran Turismo Sport – Red Bull Ring Track Details

Red Bull Ring, a track that is located in Austria, is the latest addition into the game. The track is surrounded by beautiful landscape with challenging uphill and downhill sections on the race track. Moreover, it is also a historical track for Formula One races over the years featuring the classics of Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari F2001 and Juan Pablo Montoya in his BMW powered Williams FW23.

Gran Turismo has added four variants of the track into the game; a short and a full track plus their reverse versions.

The additions of more GT League events into the game via new updates is now following a the usual pattern. Not that we are complaining, three new Gt League events have also been added:

  • The update now includes an Archive mode that will showcase championship rankings of previous seasons in Sport Mode.
  • New museum content for Zagato has been added into Brand Central of Zagato
  • New Scapes content featuring photos from Cuba
  • Circuit Saint-Croix has been added to the Circuit Experience

With this addition of Red Bull Ring, we can only hope to see more real world racing tracks instead of the fictional tracks in the earlier updates. Players have also stressed about wanting to see more iconic tracks into the game like Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone Circuit.
