CD Projekt Red has announced that after releasing on every major platform, Gwent has finally found its way to Android devices as well and players can download it right now. Gwent is a free-to-play standalone game based on the card game from CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher franchise. Players who use Android devices can head over to Google Play Store to download the game free of charge and jump right in.
The Android version of Gwent brings the complete Gwent experience to Android devices. Android players will be glad to know that Gwent on Android supports cross-play between iOS and PC players so they can challenge a wide variety of players no matter where they are playing. In addition, if you are downloading Gwent on an Android device and you already have a GOG.Com account connected with Gwent, you can simply jump right in where you left off on the GOG version of the game.
To ensure that you can run Gwent on your device without any problems, it must be running Android Version 7.0 or later and must have at least 1.5GB of RAM onboard. To celebrate the release of the game on Android, CD Projekt Red has announced that all players who log in the Android version of the game will get a free Ultimate Premium Keg. In addition, all players who pre-registered for the Android version of the game will also get the Imperial Golem avatar immediately. Players playing on other platforms will also receive daily rewards throughout the launch week. All they have to do in log in to their game.
