How to Beat Kimmy Love Boss in No More Heroes 3

This guide will show you how to beat Kimmy Love in No More Heroes 3. The fight is supposed to be with Vanishing Point as Fu directs him to take down Travis. However, Vanishing Point is defeated by Kimmy Love, who then becomes your opponent in this boss battle.

As sassy as Kimmy Love is and a creative rap singer, she comes with devastating attacks that she does not shy away from using.

How to Beat Kimmy Love in No More Heroes 3

Like any other main boss in the game, Kimmy Love fights in three phases, all of which are indicated by the color of her health bar. In the first phase of the boss fight, Kimmy will fight with her double-sided lightsaber/sword-looking weapon. Most of her attacks are set up for a block and counter, but your focus should be to ramp up the pressure and keep Kimmy attacking and overwhelming her.

Over time, Kimmy will disappear and light produces fire from the small jets on the floor for a short pyrotechnic show. This fire will damage you and force you to back away. When the fire stops, continue getting up close and slashing away. Occasionally, Kimmy will trap you in a chokehold in between her thighs, forcing you to hit the A button to escape.

The second phase of the battle begins when Kimmy Love disappears again but triggers the dolls in the battle area to shoot red laser beams on the stage. These cause a lot of damage if you get caught, but are slow enough to be dodged. While the slowly moving outward beams are manageable, one of the laser beams will quickly follow you around, so it is best to be on the move until Kimmy Love shows back up again and fights in the same way as in the first phase.

While the third phase of the battle is pretty much the same as how the previous phase began with the lasers and Kimmy showing up later. The perspective of the battle chances as the player’s viewpoint camera is hijacked by a drone. You have to destroy this drone before returning back to the normal fight.
