Getting KK Slider to come to visit your island will require some gameplay time beforehand. This means that you have to work on your island enough to get the attention of KK Slider and for him to agree to visit your island.
First things first, you need to work on expanding your island by adding decorations, inviting guests and having residents live on your island. Another requirement is to upgrade the Resident Services from a small tent to a large building. It is after this upgrade that Tom Nook will tell you all about KK Slider and his desire for a concert on the island.
From there, you will need to get busy with a few tasks at hand. For starters, you need to invite more visitors to your island. This can be done by making a campsite for the visitors to come to, on any spot of your choosing.

The third thing you need to do is to work on making your island look better. What this means is that you should start decorating your island with flowers or even lampposts that add some décor to the island. Your residents will also like fences and clean patches of grass without any weeds. This will massively help you with the attraction that your island needs.
Every time you work on decorating the island, go and talk to Isabelle about how the island looks. Do this every time you see her until she will mention KK Slider wanting to visit the island himself. At this point, you just have to wait for the next day until KK Slider shows up for a concert.
