As you expand your base, you will finally come to the point where you will need wheat seeds to complete missions and level up your base at the Palbox. Unlike most seeds, wheat seeds cannot be obtained in the world just by collecting them from their source plants. Instead, wheat seeds are only dropped by certain Pals when you catch or kill them. This Palworld Wheat Seeds Guide will help you with how you can obtain wheat seeds in Palworld.
How to Get Wheat Seeds in Palworld
There are two methods of obtaining wheat seeds in Palworld. First, you can either catch and kill certain Pals which will drop wheat seeds for you to collect. The most common one is the Dinossom which is available right in the first area as well. However, while they are available in the initial area, their numbers are a little low in this region so you will need to expand your search a little to the left side of the starting area. They do not move in a pack so you will mostly encounter only one when you do encounter one.

Other Pals that drop wheat seeds include Brislta and Flopie, you will encounter them on your journey towards the Tower of the Free Pal Alliance after leaving the island where the Tower of the Rayne Syndicate is located. Both of these Pals are much more abundant in their numbers, but they are higher-level Pals which means that you will have a tough time bringing them down. You can increase your wheat seed outpost with each Pal by first capturing it and then killing it to gain even more wheat seeds. It is a little brutal but if you are running short on wheat seeds, this is one way to get some extra ones.

The second method of getting wheat seeds is from Wandering Merchants. These merchants are mobile merchants and can be found all over the map in different locations. The following map shows the locations of all Wandering Merchants in Palworld.

You will need to spend 100 gold to purchase it from merchants. If Wandering Merchants is not your thing, you can check out the merchant located in a small settlement located in the location below as well. This location is easily accessible right from the start of the game and you can jump here anytime using the Fast Travel spot closer to it and purchase wheat seeds any time you want.
