Mother’s Axe – Item
The Mother’s Axe is an important item that will allow you to chop off the tree roots and get past them. Lucky for you, this specific item is tied to the story and you cannot miss it. Just play the story and once you reach a specific spot in the story, you will automatically get it. It is also required for the skill mentioned below.
Axe Hang – Skill
After you have obtained the Mother’s Axe, you will be able to use it for the Axe Hang ability which allows you to use the axe and jump a little higher than normal. After you’ve jumped, press the jump key again to gain some more momentum and go higher. You can only use the Axe Hang skill once during a jump.
Leaping Drill Attack – Skill
You will learn the Leaping Drill Attack after some progression in the main story as well. Simply continue playing the game and you will eventually arrive at the Iron Kingdom. Continue following the storyline until you meet Kampan and then you learn the Leaping Drill Attack.
With the help of this attack, you will be able to get through the narrow spaces in the game which were previously inaccessible to you. To be more specific, these are the areas that are narrow 1 brick passageways a little higher than the ground level itself. Many of these narrow passages hide secrets behind them.
Spear – Item
You obtain the spear in Port Maerifa after you recruit Baozhai to your cause. Baozhai will give you the spear which is required for the skill below.
Pirates Leap – Skill
Pirates Leap will allow you to jump higher in the game. You unlock this skill in Port Maerifa at the end of the level after you obtain the spear.
