Gears 5 Horde Mode Guide

Microsoft just held its Inside Xbox event at the Gamescom 2019 in Germany where it showcased some cool new Gears 5’s features including the all-new Horde Mode along with NBA 2K20’s Career Mode and some new titles making their way to Xbox Game Pass in the coming days. The event took place at the venue of Gamescom 2019. The main show is starting tomorrow however some pre-shows are already under-way such as the Nintendo Indie World Showcase.

Looks like Microsoft really listened to the fans because the show started off with a bang when it was announced that Devil May Cry 5 is coming to Xbox Game Pass today. Devil May Cry 5 was released earlier this year and it was so far the best game in the franchise. Fans who were unable to get their hands on it will be able to play it on their Xbox One or PC with Xbox Game Pass now.

Xbox Game Pass Additions

Microsoft started the show by announcing that Devil May Cry 5 is coming to Xbox Game Pass today and players will be able to play the game as soon as the title is live. Accompanying it are Stellaris: Console Edition and Age of Empires: Definitive Edition for PC.

Coming soon are Ape Out and Kingdom Come: Deliverance on August 22 and Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut on August 27. Blair Witch is set to release on August 30, 2019, and it will be added to Xbox Game Pass the same day on Xbox One and PC.

Humans Fall Flat

A brand new free level is coming for Humans Fall Flat both on PC and Xbox One on August 27, 2019. Players who own Xbox Game Pass can play the game for free as it is part of the service.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition

Microsoft announced that Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is releasing on Steam and Microsoft Store on November 14, 2019. Players who own the HD version on Steam will be able to nab the Definitive Edition at a discounted price.

Gears Pop! Release Date

We now have a confirmed release date for Gears Pop! The game is slated for release on August 22, 2019, on Windows 10, Android and iOS.

Vigor Release Trailer

Free-to-play survival shooter game Vigor is now available on Xbox One exclusively and the game received a cool new release trailer. Check it out below.

NBA 2K20’s Career Mode

NBA 2K20’s Career Mode will be a star-studded mode as Idris Alba, Rosario Dawson and many other famous celebrities will be part of the mode. Check out the trailer below.

Ghost War Reveal

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will come with the multiplayer mode called Ghost War which will feature eight players in teams of four duking it out in maps featuring storms similar to battle royale games. The multiplayer will come with dedicated servers to ensure that there are no online problems.

PUBG Cross-Play Support

Cross-play support for PUGB is arriving soon in a free update. The expected window of the update to arrive is October 2019.

New Xbox One Controllers

Microsoft also showcased two brand new Xbox One controller designs. One of them is called Night Ops Camo Special Edition while the other is called Sport Blue Special Edition. Both feature distinctive designs and are nothing like we’ve seen before. Both controllers will also come with matching charging docks. Check them out below.

Empire of Sin Trailer

Empire of Sin received a brand new trailer at the event which revealed the release window for the game of Spring 2020.

X019 Event Announcement

Microsoft will host its second X019 event on November 14 in London where Phil Spencer and other major Xbox team members will be present with more news and reveals.

Metro Exodus DLC

The Two Colonels DLC for Metro Exodus is arriving tomorrow and it will add a flamethrower to the player’s arsenal.

Gears 5 Horde Mode

Horde Mode is making a comeback in Gears 5 and it will add tons of new features to the mode. Players will now choose special heroes who come with their own Ultimate abilities and will help change the tide of the battle. Check out the details in the video below.
