Jitsu Squad Kickstarter Now Live with Switch and PS4 Physical Rewards

Jitsu Squad is now live in Kickstarter as announced by Strictly Limited Games in collaboration with Netherlands based developer, Tanuki Creative Studio. Player scan now pledge on the Kickstart to get their hands on a digital or physical copy of the game on their Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Although the Kickstarter campaign was already funded in only 24 hours, it is now bringing even bigger Jitsu Squad experience to the backers with stretch goals.

Strictly Limited Games has also announced independently from the Kickstart campaign, the company will create some Limited Editions of the game down the road. They have hinted a possible collaboration with ININ Games, so we might have to wait for any news regarding that.

So what is Jitsu Squad? It is a fast-paced cartoony action brawler where players will experience the ultimate wacky chaotic battles. The game will give you the freedom and accessibility of games like streets of Rage and Final Fight, but with added speed, intensity and frenetic energy of games such as Guilty Gear, Marvel vs Capcom II, and Super Smash Brothers.

There are also some crossover assists from well-known characters. In the battle, assist icons might spawn from an enemy or a treasure chest. This will bring out awesome assist charaters that will help you defeat enemies. The characters include:

Maximilian Dood: The godfather of the fighting game community and his dog Benny jump right into the action to unleash their crushing ‘Hype Beam’.
Yooka-Laylee: The protagonists from the Yooka-Laylee series developed by Playtonic Games are here to help the player with their ‘Reptile Rush’.
Look Mom, I’m in the game: Backers who pledge this tier will become an assist character in Jitsu Squad!
