Kapital: Sparks of Revolution PC

1C Entertainment and Lapovich Team have launched their sandbox economic simulation game Kapital: Sparks of Revolution on PC via Steam. The game is being sold at a 15% launch discount which will remain for the first week from launch.

The game was launched alongside its launch trailer that you can check out below:

Kapital: Sparks of Revolution is a sandbox city-builder focused on society management. It is a game about crisis and permanent conflict in human society. You will run out of vital resources in times you need them the most. People will protest and riot despite your best efforts to help them. Not everyone will survive.

When you first start the game, you take control of a ruined city after a conflict and are tasked to pick the city back from the ashes and make it flourish again. However, this is easier said than done, as it requires you to make tough decisions. Passing laws, building infrastructure, imposing taxation, and gathering resources are just a few of the concerns you will have to face. All of these factors will impact the inhabitants of the city and their happiness.

If your decisions take a dark turn, there is going to be social unrest, and it will all depend on you to make things better and to restore the happiness of the people through entertainment, resource distribution, housing, medicine, and policing if tensions spill into the streets. Having said that, not all people can be pleased by little things, and radicals can overcome the streets to make things even uglier than before.

The population of your city will have three different classes: nobles, bourgeois, and workers. Each of these classes will have a unique role in the economy of your city. Nobles are people that are policemen and officials, while bourgeois pay taxes. Workers are your labor force that provides growth to your city.
