SOEDESCO and PixelHive have announced the release date of their upcoming 90s inspired platformer Kaze and the Wild Masks. Kaze and the Wild Masks is slated for release on March 26, 2021, and will release simultaneously on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Steam, and Google Stadia.

PixelHive is a Brazilian indie developer who has developed the title however the publishing work has all been done at SOEDESCO by their in-house publishing division known as SOEDESCO Studios. The developer details that their main goal with the game is to blend the classic characteristics of the 90s platformer era with today’s gaming tech. This is why Kaze and the Wild Masks may play and look like a classic 90s title but under the hood, it still feels modern and fresh.

The game features the journey of Kaze through the Crystal Islands as you platform your way around. Your goal is to save your friend Hogo from a curse that has spread chaos around the islands. You will face enraged vegetables on your journey but you will have the power of the Wild Masks at your side which will give you unique powers and abilities like flying like an eagle, pouncing like a tiger, swimming like a shark, and more.
