There are 11 Photo Slides in total, and finding them all will unlock the “A Slice of Life” trophy/achievement and “A Mosaic of Misery” trophy/achievement.
Photo Slides are usually found placed on shelves, drawers, or you can even find them sitting on chairs and stools.
Photo Slides can be easily missed if you cannot collect one. But the game does give you a chance to play each Act again and separately to collect any Photo Slide you may have missed. This can be done by finishing the game, which will then unlock New Game + where you collectibles will be carried over.
It is worth mentioning that any Photo Slide you collect will not be saved until you reach a new checkpoint. This means that if your character dies before you can reach the next point, every collectible will be lost and have to be picked up again. Another thing to keep in mind is that your collectibles tracker to unlock the trophy is only updated when you get back to the cabin. This is why you should finish the Act you are playing through.
If you miss a collectible and use New Game +, you can go to each Act to play it again and collect any Photo Slide that you forgot to collect. Make sure that each time you play a different Act, you will have to finish it and then return to your cabin for the trophy to update its tracker.

Act 1 – Unmooring
All the Photo Slides in Act 1 – Unmooring are detailed below:
Photo Slide #1
This Photo Slide can be found in the early parts of this Act. Once you find yourself walking in a corridor with a half-open door on your left. Opposite to this door with be another door that you can enter. In here you will find a compartment with a nightstand. Inside one of the drawers will be the photo slide.
Photo Slide #2
This item will be in a room with some microphones, suitcases and blue board. The photo slide will be inside a drawer here.
Act 2 – The Hunt
All the Photo Slides in Act 2 – The Hunt are detailed below:

In the part where you have to stop the smoke coming from the pipe in this Act. When you turn the valve to shut it off, you need to crouch under the pipe on your right. The photo slide will be at the end of this walkway.
Act 3 – Bloody Roots

In the third Act of the game, when you get the keys to enter the bedroom. The photo slide will be in the drawers of the nightstand.

Act 4 – Breathe

This item can be found after you find yourself falling through the stairs, where you will end up in a red hall with a big plant. Look to the right side of the room, where the photo slide will be on top of a piano

In this Act, you will be chased by a monster, but right after you collect the previous photo slide, go back down towards the stairs, close the coffin and there will be a photo slide placed on a stool for you to collect.
Act 5 – Forever

In this Act, when you are done using the projector, you need to head forward until you see some bars. Towards the right, you will find the photo slide sitting on a mantelpiece, beneath a painting.

This photo slide can be found before you enter the room with are with the floating lemons. Look to your left where you will find a door leading into a corridor. The photo slide is well hidden here but on the lower right shelves, and in an open crate.
