This Luigi’s Mansion 3 Bosses Guide will detail all of the bosses that you will encounter in the game. This guide contains each and every boss with their details, what their attacks are, and how you can defeat them.

There are many bosses that you will encounter in the game. All of these bosses come with their own unique attacks that you have to counter. Each of the levels or floors in the game has various bosses that you have to beat in order to progress in the story of the game.

Below we have detailed all of the bosses in the game.

Boss #1 – Steward

This is the first boss that you will encounter in the game. The steward is a hotel ghost that works around in moving the luggage and suitcases of the hotel. The boss fight is quite simple as Steward has just one attack, which is where he picks up the suitcases and hurls them at Luigi.

This attack can easily be dodged. However, Steward will occasionally hide away behind some objects. This means that you will have to use your dark light to locate him. Once you locate him, you can suck him up in the vacuum and them slam him around to finish off his health. The rest of the battle is a repeat of this process until you can capture him for good.

Boss #2 – Chambrea

Chambrea is the housekeeping ghost of the mansion who can be seen cleaning the rooms in the mansion. Your task in the boss fight is to retrieve the briefcase that she is guarding. When she spots you, she will swallow the briefcase and hide away.

This means that you have to locate her in the various rooms in the hallway of the floor. Every time you find her, you need to use your vacuum to slam her and deplete her health. Chambrea will occasionally hide and then shift between rooms, but you can locate her with the dark light. Once you have defeated her, you can then collect the briefcase.

Boss #3 – Kruler

Kruler is a ghost that roams around the halls of this area, carrying keys on his side. When you first go to fight him, he will run away in another area with the cage. This means that for the fight, you will need Gooigi.

Summon Gooigi and then enter the area where Kruler is hiding. Kruler himself will fight with a water gun where he squirts and lobs the water that land after a few seconds. He fires off a series of water bursts that you have to dodge. Otherwise, Gooigi will dissolve away and you will have to use another Gooigi.

The rest of the battle is the same where you suck the ghost in and then slam them around. Kruler will occasionally disappear and you will have to use the dark light to reveal him.

Boss #4 – Chef Soulffle

Chef Soulffle is the chef that can be seen cooking in the kitchen area of the game. When you enter the kitchen, the stoves will be covered in thick black smoke. Summon Gooigi and suck up the black smoke to reveal Chef Soulffle.

Chef Soulffle is a very aggressive boss, as you will find out immediately. He comes near Luigi spinning his pan to hit him. A single hit can take 20 of Luigi’s health. You on the other hand can pick up pumpkins and watermelons to stun the Chef, and then suck him up in the vacuum. Every time you slam him on the ground, he will disappear, but then reappear with his pan to attack you again. The rest of the fight is a repeat process until his health is totally gone and you can capture him for good.

Boss #5 – Amadeus Wolfgeist

This boss is the piano player that can be found in the orchestra hall. The boss fight begins when he starts playing the grand piano and begins to hurl all the chairs around at your location. At this point, you cannot do anything until wait for him to run out of chairs.

Once he is done, he will transform the whole grand piano into a monster that comes flying towards Luigi. You can only dodge and wait until the Grand Piano returns back to the stage and throws out a series of bombs. This is where you can attack by pick up a bomb and throwing it inside the piano. This will blow it up where you can then pull the piano and smash it on the ground. When Amadeus comes out of the piano, you can then capture him and then slam him around to deal damage.

Boss #6 – King MacFrights

This is another boss that is quite intimidating and aggressive. Mainly because he loves to attack you on his ghost horse, wearing a knights armor and attacking you with his lance. The fight also happens in a large arena where he runs around to attack you.

When MacFrights charges towards you, you can stun him and then attack your vacuum at the chest plate of the armor. Then you can slam King MacFrights around to deal damage. This process will repeat when he reassembles and then comes to fight again. Do this three times and his armor will destroy, forcing him to fight on his own.

King MacFright will then fight by swinging his shield towards Luigi. At this point, you can capture him and slam on the ground until his health has diminished and you have captured him.

Boss #7 – Dr. Potter

Dr. Potter comes to the battle with his vicious plant that just loves to chomp anything in its path. Before the fight begins, Dr. Potter will accidentally reveal a saw blade machine that you need to sever his plant that is attached to his body.

The first thing you need to do is stand behind the brown plants so that when the chomper comes to attack you, it gets stuck on it. Then you should use the sawblade to sever the plant from Dr. Potter. This will leave him vulnerable and you can suck him in to slam him on the ground. In the second phase, he returns with another chomper plant, but at this point, you know what to do to end the battle.

Boss #8 – Morty

Morty is the film director boss that you encounter in the game. In the first phase of the fight, he will set you up to shoot a film on a set of a city. You will then have to fight a giant monster that is like Godzilla. This monster will attack you with its fireballs and other attacks. But what you are looking for is a giant blue orb that it produces sending your way.

Use your Vacuum to push this giant orb back into the monster. Repeating this three times will defeat the monster. Once the fight is over, you can then go the editing room to capture Morty.

Boss #9 – Polterkitty

Polterkitty comes in two different battles. The first time you encounter it is when she steals an Elevator button from you. This kitty is quiet quick and always flees away when you try to capture it. You have to be patient here and let it sneak up behind you.

It is best to have Gooigi do this work by standing close and wait for the cat to make its move. It will jump down and sneak behind the unaware Luigi. Right as it is getting ready to pounce, you can then use Gooigi and his vacuum to suck the Polterkitty in for a slam attack. Polterkitty will then escape and you will later get to fight with her again.

The second battle quite a while later where you will encounter Polterkitty in the same style as before. It will again steal a button away from you and you will have to repeat the fight again. Wait for it to sneak up on Luigi, and then use Gooigi to capture it at the right moment before it pounces.

Boss #10 – Ug

This boss is in the museum with the large dinosaur bones. Right in the middle, you will notice that the T-Rex. Ug’s ghost is inside the T-Rex and you will have to defeat it first for Ug to come out.

The dinosaur is very menacing and has a lot of attacks. Thankfully you have some space to run around and dodge its attacks. One of its attacks is the scream that it sends towards you. Alternatively, it will stomp its feet causing rocks to fall from the ceiling. Your task here is to pick up large objects and throw them at the ball of light that it contains inside its chest. Hitting each time will break the ribs that will reveal more of the ball. Continue until.

When the dinosaur dies, Ug will come out. This ghost is a caveman who is wielding a club that it attacks you with. He likes to run around and smash you with his club. He will also smash his club on the ground for a shockwave attack that you need to jump over. Whenever he does this, you can go to capture him for a slam attack. Repeat this process until he is captured.

Boss #11 – Clem

Clem is a boss that you will encounter in the basement. Both Luigi and Clem fight in a pool of water riding their rubber duckies. To attack Clem, you first need to make sure that you burst his rubber ducky. You can do this by waiting for him to go for a long swing attack. When he misses, he will stun himself for a while from all the spinning. Use this to suck in his rubber ducky and then launch it to the spikes at the outer ring of the pool.

This will blow up his rubber ducky, and then you can get out of the pool to fight one-on-one. You will need to be quick before he can produce another rubber ducky. Capture him and slam him around. In the next phase, he will again come in his rubber ducky and you just have to repeat the steps.

Boss #12 – Serpci

This boss can be found in the tomb area where you will encounter Serpci. This is quite a tough fight as Serpci loves to use all of her attacks and can be very accurate with her slam attacks. Follow around to where she is heading. She will then produce a large sand dune with serpents around.

Serpci will use the large giant head with serpents to attack you. You should lure the head in the middle of the area where the serpents can stun themselves when they miss a strike attack. You can then destroy the serpents before the head disappears. Occasionally, Serpci will come out without the large head and throw spikes around in all corners. This is your best chance to capture her after her attack and then slam her on the ground. You might need to repeat the whole process 2-3 times before you capture her for good.

Boss #13 – Nikki, Lindsey, and Ginny

These are three ghosts that come to fight you. The fight will begin in a small octagonal area, where the ghost will use their hats to do all the attacking. First, they will throw spinning cards at you and then followed by the hats encircling you and closing around to smash you inside.

After this attack, you can attack your vacuum to one of the hats and then pull out one of the ghosts. You can then capture them and slam them. Repeat this step until you have captured all the three ghosts.

Boss #14 – Captain Fishook

Captain Fishook can be found on the Pirate ship. This ghost is a shark that you have to defeat. But first, it will go under the main deck and come out as a giant mouth made of the wooden boards. This mouth will follow you around, while enemies from all corners will launch explosive barrels at you.

You need to use these barrels to throw one inside the mouth. When you do so, Captain will come out, and having to fight you on his own. It will attack you with its hook, but you have to wait for the right time to capture it. When you do capture and slam it, it will then return with the giant mouth under the wood. The rest is just a repeat until you have captured Captain Fishook for good.

Boss #15 – Johnny Deepend

This boss is found in the swimming pool area, and attacks with volleyballs and squirts water from his mouth. Your task here is to drain all the water from the pool so you can capture him. Before you do that, you need to stun him with your own volleyball throw.

When stunned, it gives you a lot of time to go to the control at the top to drain the pool. This will drain the water and have Johnny stuck halfway in the drain pipe. At this point the fight becomes easy and you can use the volleyballs to stun him again and then capture him for good.

Boss #16 – DJ Phantasmagloria

This boss can be found in the dance stage area and is the DJ that is playing at the stage. She will first send out dancers that are carrying the Elevator button. You need to capture one of the dancers carrying the buttons and then slam them around.

Before you can get the button, DJ Phantasmagloria will take it away from you. She will then come out to fight you and will throw record disks as projectiles to hurt you. She will also produce spinning attacks to hurt you even more. You can attack her when she stays in one place and throws out the record disks. Dodge around and get close to her and capture her to slam her on the ground. Repeat these steps until her health is gone and you have captured her for good.

Boss #17 – Hellen Gravely

This is fight begins in a small area where Hellen brings out a machine in the middle of the area. This machine will first produce deadly lasers that rotate around. You should just stay close to it and run away from where it is pointing. Followed by this, the machine will produce 4 rays that will be going out on all corners.

Your task is to summon Gooigi and use him to go down the gutter and in the area underneath. This area will have various switches that can turn the rays off. Whenever the rays are turned off, Hellen will jump on the area to attack her own. Wait for her to miss her attack and then capture her for a slam attack. Make sure you have at least 3 rays turned off so that you have more space to capture her. Repeat the step again and you will capture her in no time.

Final Boss – King Boo
