Microsoft Flight Simulator Is Returning, New Trailer Revealed at E3 2019

Flight Simulator

Microsoft has revealed a brand new reveal trailer for its long-forgotten franchise Flight Simulator and the new game is simply called Microsoft Flight Simulator. If you are a fan of the Flight Simulator franchise then you will remember this amazing flight simulator game which we all thought was gone for good, however, the brand new game looks amazing and it looks like it is going to be the best flight simulator game ever.

According to the trailer, the new game will be powered by Google Maps and Microsoft Azure AI which are both extremely powerful tools and will certainly give us the most authentic flight experience ever seen in any Flight Simulator title. The trailer shows the extremely high detailed world which is captured in real-time 4K and will be available in the game. The trailer also shows us some of the most iconic locations which we will be able to fly in the game.

One thing is for sure that this game is going to eat up a lot of hard disk space because the last game in the franchise was a pretty heavy game as well when it came to hard disk space but since it is powered by Microsoft’s Azure AI, it might not need a lot of space on the user’s HDD and might use its own cloud storage back on Azure’s servers. At this point, no information about the game has been revealed apart from its reveal.

Check out the reveal trailer below.

Whatever the case is, the brand new title looks like an amazing game and it certainly going to make fans of this amazing franchise very happy. If you want to give this franchise a go, the last title was released in 2014 and it still holds up pretty well when compared with today’s standards. I highly recommend that you use a proper flight stick to play it on because the keyboard does not do justice to this amazing franchise.

Microsoft has not yet revealed a release window for Microsoft Flight Simulator however it might be a next generation title as Project Scarlett is arriving next year.
