Creators of Minecraft reveal new Coop Game Minecraft Dungeons At Xbox E3 2019 Event

Minecraft Dungeon

The creators of Minecraft have revealed their brand new co-op game Minecraft Dungeons which is yet another Minecraft game but different. The game will feature 4-player local coop and online coop as well. It is planned for a Spring 2020 release. With this brand new title, the developers are taking a brand new direction for the franchise.

Visually, the game looks extremely similar to Minecraft as it features the same art and style as well as the visuals. Where Minecraft Dungeons differs is its brand new gameplay as it is a dungeon crawler. There won’t be any building in the game and players will be able to focus solely on killing some baddies as they explore different dungeons on their own or bring up to three friends and join in the fun.

Minecraft Dungeons was initially revealed back at E3 2018 and it was planned for a 2019 release but it seems like Mojang has delayed the title to 2020 so that they can work on the game some more to make it better. We are fine with the delays but we do hope that the game is worth all the wait because being a Minecraft game, Dungeons has to keep the legacy of the franchise alive.

Another important aspect to note here is that it is also releasing on Nintendo Switch which means that it is going to be a solid dungeon crawler option for Nintendo’s flagship device. There are many dungeon crawlers already on the platform so Mojang will really need to step up their game and deliver a solid title so that it can make its space in the genre quickly and easily.

More details about the title will be announced at a later stage and we are really looking forward to playing it. Stick around as we will continue to update you on the status of this amazing dungeon crawler coming from Mojang next year.
