One of the main new materials introduced in Monster Hunter Rise Sunrise is called Melding Pudding, a special material that allows you to craft and upgrade your hunter’s equipment. The best way to get Melding Pudding is by accessing Backroom Deals. These are given to you by an NPC called Nagi, when you continue in the Master Rank story of the Sunbreak Expansion. Over time, and by keeping an eye on the dialogue option that pops up for characters, look for such option where Nagi will tell you about the Backroom Deals.
Backroom Deals can be accessed anytime from the Argosy menu, in the Trade Requests tab. Here you can assign a buddy to gather the materials for you, making it the easiest way to obtain Melding Pudding over time.
There is also another way you can get some Melding Pudding, where you can add a Letter of Introduction toggle to any of your submarine. Whenever you return from a mission, this gives you a chance to get come back with some Melding Pudding. This method does not guarantee this material as you can also get a Locked Treasure Chest, or an MP Accelerant. However, it is still a possible way to farm some additional Melding Pudding that you need to craft and upgrade your equipment.
