WRC 9 will feature an enhanced and more challenging Career mode. WRC 8 featured one of the best Career modes in rally games and WRC 9 will continue to build on it and add more even more features and details. It will come with a wider variety of events and a stronger link to what the real-world championship teams are doing throughout the year. It will add three brand new rallies to the event calendar as well.

These include Kenya’s Safari Rally, Rally Japan and Rally New Zealand along with two other rallies with completely redesigned environments. Along with the new rallies, fans of the rally will also be able to drive some of the best classic rally cars that have left their mark on the history of the WRC. Vehicle behaviors will be further improved and refined.

For WRC 9, developers are once again focusing on the realism of car physics such as suspensions, braking, and mass transfer to make driving even more authentic. This attention to detail will ensure that the vehicle’s responsiveness on all surfaces and in all conditions in the real championships are reproduced in the game. Key new additions to WRC 9 include:

  • 3 new rallies: Japan, New Zealand, Kenya
  • Over 50 official teams and their livery from the WRC, WRC 2, WRC 3 and Junior WRC
  • Over 15 bonus cars that have left their mark on the history of the WRC
