Next NFS Title Could be Need For Speed Heat, Leaked by Austrian Retailer

Need For Speed Heat

In an apparent leak, an Austrian retailer by the name of Gameware has leaked the next title called Need for Speed Heat. The leak also shows the cover art of the game. Gameware quickly removed the box art from the store, however, a twitter account was successful in capturing the images prior to removal.

Screenshots of the next Need for Speed game were shared by Nibellion where the listing of the game could be seen on the Gamerware website. We already knew that a new Need for Speed title is going to release this year, even though EA has kept quiet about the title and is yet to reveal the game.

The leak shows the box art of the game, and that it is going to release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is no mention of a release date and if the game would be available on the PC and Nintendo Switch.

Need For Speed Heat

The last title to come in the NFS series was Need for Speed Payback. The title was received with mixed reactions, while also coming under criticism of containing a lot of microtransactions in the game.

EA did not even mention the game at this year’s E3 2019 event as previous hints suggested that the game would be releasing this fall.

Know that we’re here, we’re building an amazing game that we can’t wait to show off, and the next time we talk, we’ll be packing our bags and heading south for the full unveiling. We’ll see you then

We expect more details to come out soon during this year’s Gamescom. The event is going to run next month from August 20 to 24, where developers usually showcase their upcoming games.
