New Trailer of Anthem Shows Javelin Customization, Gameplay, Story Progression

Electronic Arts has released another new trailer for Anthem that shows a lot of stuff that is related to the story progression, customization, and gameplay of the upcoming online action RPG by BioWare.

The extensively detailed video is seven minutes long detailing a lot of gameplay features of the game, and answering the most common frequently asked questions that the players might have regarding its basic features.

The trailer starts by discussing the upcoming game’s story progression and customization. Then the major part of the video talks about the different playstyles. Loadouts and abilities of Anthem’s four Javelins: Ranger, Interceptor, Colossus, and Storm.

The players star with the Ranger Javelin when they first start with the game, and have the change to build all the four javelins with multiple version of them, by the time you are done with the game’s story.

The Ranger Javelin is best for precision play, relying on a variety of abilities and weapons to target specific enemies. The Interceptor Javelin is quick and fast, and has the strongest melee set of all, allowing you to deal massive damage before the enemy can retaliate. Colossus is basically a flying tank, where you can storm in the front lines of the battle, and withstand devastating attacks with its heavy armor and massive shield. The final Javelin is the Storm which is elemental attacks makes its one of the most powerful Javelins.

Each Javelin can be customized to fulfill many roles. Ranger Javelin can be fitted to survive on its own with balanced weapons if you want to go out for a solo adventure. If you want to play with team mates, you can add tech to your suit to enable your squad to deal higher damage, or pick support ability that makes sure everyone remains alive.

Anthem is coming with a demo in a few weeks, where players can get their hands on it on 1 February, 2019. The demo will come early to Origin/ EA Access members on 25 January. The demo will allow players to try out the javelin classes, explore Ford Tarsis, and take on a handful of small missions. Players will also start with level 10 and progress to level 15.
