Nightingale: How to Fast Travel

In Nightingale, there are many different places to discover, but only one is your real home. To make a base there, you’ll need a special structure. We made a simple guide to help you quickly move around using Fast TRavel and use Estate Cairns in Nightingale.

How to Fast Travel in Nightingale

The Nightingale’s fast travel system mainly uses something called the Estate Cairn. This special thing can only be made in Abeyance Realms. To build it, you need:

20 rocks
5 stone blocks

To quickly go back to your home in Nightingale, just press the M key on your keyboard to open the map in the game. Then, move your cursor over to the “Travel To Respite” button on the left side of the map, under the compass symbol. Click on it, and you’ll zip straight to your home base in no time. This feature is really useful for players gathering materials like Straps for making important tool upgrades.

Purpose of Estate Cairn

When you put down an Estate Cairn and make it work, the place you’re in will become your home. But remember, you might not end up in the same place you left because things change randomly. I will list below a few nifty tips that can help you out:

To set up your home base, use the Estate Cairn. Put it where there are many resources or vendors. Forest areas are safer than deserts or swamps.
If you die without an Estate Cairn, you’ll come back at the closest Faerie Ring.
You can only have one Estate Cairn at a time. If you make a new one, it replaces the old one. For example, if you’re in the same Abeyance Realm and don’t like your base’s spot, find a new one and set up a new Estate Cairn there.

If you go to a different Abeyance Realm and set up a new Estate Cairn, you might not be able to return to the previous one if you change the portal settings.

Estate Cairn in Multiplayer

The Estate Cairn in Nightingale isn’t just for solo players. After you finish the tutorial part of the game, you can team up with friends or let strangers join your realm by setting it to “public.” If other players build their own Estate Cairn in your realm, it becomes their home too. This means several players can share the same home realm or world.
